In this meeting, the President, referring to the importance and rapid progress of emerging technologies, including quantum in the world, considered the acquisition of these technologies to be very necessary for the future of the country, especially in the commercial, communication, and security-defense sectors, and stated: The requirement for a targeted move in the development of quantum is, in the first step, to recognize the country's assets and capacities and the position of other countries in this field, and then to plan and make policies to achieve the desired position in this technology.

He continued by emphasizing the importance of training specialized and capable human resources as the main axes of quantum technology development, and stated: In the matter of training human resources in quantum, it is necessary to avoid the entry of scattered university units in this sector, and to concentrate the training of talented students in quantum in a few top universities along with important research centers related to this field, so that it is better to plan for supporting and supporting the development of quantum technology.

Pezshkian also emphasized that the multiplicity of councils in the field of science and technology should not slow down the movement and hinder decision-making, and asked the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, in cooperation with the relevant agencies, to present a quantum technology development document within a maximum of 2 months to determine the role and position of the government in supporting this technology, as well as planning and decision-making in this field.
