According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, this week's Friday prayers in Tehran will be held on May 12, led by Ayatollah Kazem Sedighi at the University of Tehran.

The doors of the university will open at 10:30 for the attendance of the esteemed worshippers, and the programs will start at 11:00.

This week, on the eve of the Hajj and Teacher's Day, Mr. Alireza Kazemi, Minister of Education and Hojjatoleslam Wal-Muslimeen Seyyed Abdul Fattah Navab, the Supreme Leader's Representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, will deliver speeches before the sermons.

In the section introducing the selected book of the week on the occasion of the ascension of Martyr Morteza Motahari, the book "Notes from the Pulpit" (Lecture Notes) by Martyr Motahari will be introduced.

This book, which was recently published by Sadra Publications, is a collection of notes by Allamah Martyr Motahari for his lectures in the years 36 and 37 of the Islamic calendar.

The contents of this book, like other notes of this thinker, philosopher and jurist of high rank, are rich and contain precise Quranic, narrational, sociological, psychological, philosophical and theological points, and it makes one wonder how that divine scholar, at the age of 38 and 39, could write down all these profound and precise points to prepare a speech.

It is important to mention that the method of the martyred professor was that before each speech he would research the subject for some time and prepare notes, sometimes using his previous alphabetical or thematic notes in these notes.

Those interested can obtain the book "Pulpit Notes" at a 30% discount from the Adineh Book Stand located at the intersection of the Tehran University Mosque, next to the Tomb of the Unknown Martyrs.

The following groups are present at the service tables next to the tomb of the unknown martyrs this week to serve the worshippers:

• Tehran Provincial Education Department

• Greater Tehran Electricity Distribution Company

• Tehran Provincial Civil Registration Department

• Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization

• Tehran Municipality

The Adineh Educational Center and the Student Center in the prayer hall of the University Mosque host dear children and teenagers every week in various sections, including Quranic, scientific, skill, games, and entertainment.
