According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency, Major General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, stated in a speech at the ceremony to commemorate the status of teacher and political ideology week held this morning: The anniversary of the martyrdom of the scholar-mujahid, Islamic philosopher, and true Islamist, Ayatollah Martyr Morteza Motahari, who was able to beautifully adapt the monotheistic ideas of pure Islam from within the inspiring verses of the great Quran to the requirements of the time, and especially in the matter of education and upbringing, he left behind new ideas based on the values, virtues, and teachings of Islam. We hold dear the ideas that move beyond time and seem unique and new in every age and period.

He added: The characteristic of the thoughts and ideas inspired by the Quran is that they are timeless, just as the divine verses never acquire the dust of old age with the passage of time, and every moment a person recites them, they infuse a new recitation, sweetness, and freshness into the human heart and mind.

The Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC noted: The thoughts of Martyr Motahari are also dynamic, new, and beyond the time.

He said: Martyr Motahari was able to beautifully adapt the monotheistic thoughts of pure Islam from within the inspiring verses of the great Quran to the requirements of the time, and in particular, he was able to leave behind new thoughts on education based on the values, virtues, and teachings of the revealing religion of Islam; thoughts that move beyond time and appear unique and new in every era and period.

The Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC explained the characteristics and importance of this institution in the Islamic society and added: The IRGC is a holy tree whose deep roots are in the beliefs and faith of the IRGC.

He emphasized: The IRGC must always have a dynamic, innovative, and creative mind in order to be able to understand environmental changes well.

The Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC added: The IRGC must have the ability to observe the depth of the enemy’s thinking and grasp their intentions in order to be able to predict the enemy’s scope of action well.

He noted: It is not possible to recognize the enemy based on external means alone, and believers should not be defeated in the face of challenges.

Referring to divine traditions, he said: If we find the wisdom of victory and rely on divine traditions and rules, we will never lose the war.

Major General Salami emphasized: Defeat or victory are not issues outside the human heart and mind, and the human spirit, with trust in God and strong faith, will never be defeated.

He also pointed to the identity and truth of the IRGC and said: The IRGC is more than a collection of IRGC members and has an identity beyond the identity of individuals.

He emphasized: The IRGC does not retreat from enemies and always moves forward.

General Salami emphasized: We are dealing with enemies who are weak in their core, although they have modern structures and equipment. We build the tools based on the divine promise, but we do not rely on them.

The commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps emphasized: The enemies of the Islamic Republic are weak in their core and beliefs, and although they have apparently modern and powerful equipment and structures, they will quickly collapse.

He added: This does not mean abandoning the idea of the need for powerful tools. We build all the tools based on the divine promise, but we do not rely on them.

Major General Salami emphasized: Tools are not the basis of victory, but rather they are the means of our victory, and our main basis is faith, beliefs, and virtues.

The commander-in-chief of the IRGC also pointed to the Ashura identity of this institution and said: The IRGC is an Ashura institution, and the spirit of Ashura flows in the body of the IRGC.

He emphasized: The vitality and freshness of the IRGC has nothing to do with proximity or distance from the danger zone, but rather the closer the IRGC gets to the danger zone, the more vibrant it becomes.

Major General Salami noted: This proximity to the danger zone brings the IRGC closer to the main philosophy of its existence, which is to stand in the field of jihad and martyrdom.
