A thousand processions held at the Imam Reza community; drone demonstration flight in Tehran

According to Ashura News, citing a Mehr reporter, a press conference of the public headquarters for the grand gathering of Imam Rezais was held today, Tuesday, May 6, at the Milad Tower in Tehran.

Abbas Heydari, head of the public headquarters for the Imam Rezais community, said: "Iran, Imam Reza, has been designated as the slogan of the Decade of Dignity and the gathering of Imam Rezais, and the coincidence of the Decade of Dignity with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Martyr Raisi and the martyrs of service and the tragic incident of Bandar Shahid Rajaee has become a four-way axis to be taken into account in the community.

He said: The grand gathering will be held on Friday, May 9, from Haft Tir Square to Vali Asr Square and the streets leading to this route until 10 pm. All different segments of the population, children, adolescents, and families have been invited to participate in the ceremony. A thousand service processions and medical emergencies have been planned, all of which will be provided in a public manner.

Heidari stated: We have four stages along the route, Haft Tir Square, Karimkhan-Hafez intersection, under the mural and Vali Asr Square and the intersection of Keshavarz Boulevard and Hijab Street, they will start their program at 4:00 PM.

Installing the Cloud of Flags

The head of the popular headquarters of the Imam Rezai community added: Special programs such as the Imam Reza vow are held by collecting dowries and donations. Urban screening and advertising changed the atmosphere of the city from the first days of the Decade of Dignity. The most important measures were the installation of the Razavi Cloud of Flags in Tehran, and the tallest one was in the Abbas Abad hills. The Girls' Day celebration was held with the presence of 12,000 Tehrani girls at the 12,000-seat Azadi Stadium.

He said: We invited the Razavi servants to serve the people in this program and to respect the people on these routes. We have turned 1,500 meters of street space into a playground so that children can use this equipment throughout the entire hour of the program.

Heidari said: For the first time, we will have a demonstration and group flight of drones. At 9:00 PM, we will have a lighting show in Valiasr Square and the streets leading to the square.

Referring to the holding of events and gatherings in Tehran in recent years, he said: We have seen that such programs were held less frequently before. A major reason for holding these events is the coming together of popular groups and popularization with the support of government agencies and groups for such programs. These programs were met with special welcome and support from the people and families.

The head of the public headquarters for the great gathering of Imam Rezais, referring to the previous years, said: The first year this celebration was held at Tehran University, considering the public's reception, the next year it was held at Khorasan Square, and the third year we moved it to Vali Asr Square. With many requests from the public to hold processions, this year we added surrounding streets and other streets to this route, meaning that the celebration will continue from Haft Tir Square to Vali Asr Square and Keshavarz Boulevard.

Inscription Writing and Media Idea Generation Event

The secretary of the public headquarters for the Imam Rezais Community, referring to other programs in the Decade of Dignity, added: The painting of the Deer Guarantor, based on the famous painting by Master Farshchian, was unveiled on Karim Khan Boulevard. One of the forgotten topics is inscription writing, which is done at the house of the inscription writing union with the presence of artists in this field, and all works are exhibited in the community on Friday.

Heidari said: A media cultural idea generation event was held in the Discussion Garden, where a thousand teenagers and young people who are interested in this issue competed in an event, and the best works and selected ideas will be implemented in the Friday celebration.

He clarified: A call for Imam Reza's poetry is being held nationwide to collect new productions with the topics of Imam Reza and the Decade of Dignity and other axes that were raised in the call.

Heidari also announced that this celebration will be held in other cities and said: This celebration will be held on the night and day of the birth in many large cities. To hold these celebrations, meetings were held in the holy city of Mashhad with the presence of major cities a week before the Decade of Dignity.
