The Russian President, while wishing success to the ongoing nuclear negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, announced that Russia is ready to provide the necessary technical assistance in this regard.
According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, Masoud Pezzekian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Mr. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, discussed and exchanged views on the latest status of bilateral relations and regional and international developments in a telephone call this afternoon (Tuesday).
The presidents of the two countries, expressing satisfaction with the excellent, constructive and friendly level of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation, positively assessed the progress of cooperation and joint projects, especially in the fields of money and banking, rail and road transportation, and energy.
In this conversation, the President of our country and Mr. Putin considered the signing of the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Agreement between the two countries a clear sign of the depth of Tehran-Moscow relations and a turning point in strengthening political, economic, trade and security cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation, and emphasized the determination and will of the high-ranking officials of the two countries to fully implement this agreement.

At the beginning of this telephone conversation, the President of Russia expressed regret over the explosion in Shahid Rajaee Port in Hormozgan Province and offered condolences to the government and people of Iran for the loss of a number of Iranian compatriots.
