Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi emphasized that Iran will not enter into direct negotiations with the United States until there is a change in its approach towards the Iranian people.
According to Ashura News, quoted by Tasnim, the Foreign Minister told reporters at the Nowruz headquarters of the Red Crescent: "The Islamic Republic of Iran, under maximum pressure and threats, will definitely not enter into direct negotiations with the United States. This is our clear policy and will continue until there is a change in the other side's approach towards the Iranian people."
Araghchi emphasized: "The current outlook is that with the accusations that are being made and the unreasonable demands that are being made every day, we will not enter into any direct negotiations with the American side."
At the same time, he said that of course, the way is open for indirect negotiations and that it is possible to do so through various channels.
The Iranian Foreign Minister said: "Our goal and our mission is to realize the national interests and national security of the country and people, and we will not miss any opportunity in this regard."
Regarding the attraction of capital from Iranians living abroad, Araghchi said: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the Deputy for Economic Diplomacy, has made capital attraction one of its goals, and this year, both the attraction of foreign capital and the attraction of capital from Iranians living abroad will definitely be intensified with the programs.
He said: As the Supreme Leader said, capital attraction is not limited to foreign capital. There is a lot of capital inside the country that needs to be used, and Iranians living abroad have good capital and access.
He added: We hope that the government will help facilitate the laws related to Iranians living abroad and the transfer of their capital and their movement, so that the ground for the presence of more Iranians can be prepared.
