The President said at the Ministry of Defense Strategic Council: "The capacities and capabilities of the armed forces can be of great help to the government and the country in resolving problems and organizing imbalances."
According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, the Strategic Council of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support was held this morning, Sunday, November 15, 1404, with the presence of Massoud Pezzekian.
Pezzekian stated in this meeting that he was present with you to seek God's strength and to express his gratitude to the entire Ministry of Defense forces, and stated: "Given the missions of the Ministry of Defense, you can play an effective role in aligning and increasing the capacities of different sectors of the country and coordinating the overflow of the capabilities and achievements of this ministry in the fields of development, technology, and infrastructure of the country."
The President also stated that the country's armed forces also have significant capacities in the field of human resources, adding: "The capacities and capabilities of the armed forces can be a great help to the government and the country in resolving problems and organizing imbalances."
Referring to the experience of managing the fronts during the 8-year war, Pezizian stated: At that time, different segments of society would close their businesses and come to the battlefield to help the country in the war; today, solving the country's problems requires the same management model, and we must overcome the problems with jihadi management in practice, not theory.
Pezizian also stated that the enemy knows very well that it cannot destroy the Islamic Republic with a military attack alone, and said: The enemies are seeking to fuel economic problems and imbalances in various fields in order to intensify some dissatisfactions and ride their wave.
The President listed the country's bloated administrative structure and the costs resulting from it as the roots of imposing a budget deficit and an imbalance of resources and expenses, and noted: We have made every effort in the government to reduce expenses in the preparation and formulation of the 1405 budget, prevent its imbalance with resources, and improve productivity.
Pezizkian emphasized the need to improve the efficiency of the administrative system along with increasing productivity, stating: "It is absolutely unacceptable that we spend money on the administrative system and pay its employees, but also witness people's dissatisfaction with the quality of administrative services."
The President called consensus and cohesion the saving factor of the country and overcoming problems, and stated: "Unfortunately, for 47 years, instead of addressing the roots, we have sought to solve problems by changing people. We must start the reform from ourselves, and this is the path we have taken in the 14th government."
At the beginning of this meeting, the Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support presented a detailed report on the actions and programs of this ministry in the field of improving the country's defense capabilities, as well as cooperation with the public and private sectors, especially technological cooperation and the exchange of capabilities and technologies.
Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh also explained the actions of the Ministry of Defense during the Zionist regime's aggression against the country and the support provided to the armed forces.
Upon entering the Ministry of Defense complex, the President paid tribute to the martyrs by attending the Unknown Martyrs' Memorial and then visited some of the facilities destroyed by the Zionist regime's aggression during the 12-day imposed war.
