The UN Secretary-General stated in a speech: "In Gaza, there is no end to the killing and misery; the Israeli (regime) has been preventing food and medicine from entering Gaza for nearly 2 months."
According to Ashura News, quoted by Anadolu Agency, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned in a speech on Tuesday: The two-state solution (in the occupied Palestinian territories) is on the verge of "disappearing". Gaza must remain an integral part of the future state of Palestine.
The UN Secretary-General continued at the Security Council meeting on Palestine: "In Gaza, there is no end to the killing and misery. Aid is non-negotiable. (The) Israeli regime must protect civilians and must agree to and facilitate relief projects. (The) Israeli regime has been preventing food and medicine from entering Gaza for nearly two months. Settler violence in the West Bank continues at an alarming level.
Antonio Guterres said that the situation in Gaza remains dire and "there is no end in sight to the killing and misery."
He added: "The world cannot watch the two-state solution disappear." Leaders of countries face clear choices: choice-silence, choice-consent, or choice-action.
