According to Ashura News, citing Mehr correspondent, the unveiling ceremony of the book "Towards Growth" by Hojatoleslam Seyyed Mohsen Hosseini was held at the Islamic Revolution Publishers Association pavilion at the 36th Tehran International Book Fair, simultaneously with the celebration of the 120,000-copy sale of the book "Rushd" by the late Ali Safai Haeri, at the 36th Tehran International Book Fair.

At this ceremony, Hojatoleslam Seyyed Mohsen Hosseini, the author of the book, and Hojatoleslam Seyyed Majid Pourtabatabai, one of Professor Safai's students and companions, expressed their views on the necessity of rewriting intellectual works for today's generation.

Referring to his main concern for writing this book, Hosseini said at this ceremony: The distance between today's teenagers and young people and existing intellectual treasures, including the works of Professor Safai, made us think of presenting a new and more understandable narrative of these thoughts. Today's teenagers have become accustomed to concise and visual formats such as reels and stories, and we can no longer expect them to immediately understand the same difficult and abstract texts of the past.

He added: "In light of the Supreme Leader's advice to recognize the main issues and try to solve them, we realized that one of the fundamental issues is the gap in the correct transmission of knowledge and ideas to the new generation. The purpose of compiling this book was to create a bridge between the deep content of Professor Safaei's works and the modern audience; a bridge that can satisfy the new generation by simplifying, simulating, and illustrating while remaining faithful to the content."

Emphasizing that teenagers are thirsty for learning and that if they do not receive appropriate content, they may benefit from unhealthy sources, Hosseini continued: "In writing the book, an effort was made to transform the reasonable into the tangible and to make abstract concepts tangible for the audience in the context of everyday life. Underlining parts of the text and selecting key sentences was done to attract the attention of teenagers and facilitate their understanding."

Continuing, Hojjatoleslam Pourtabatabai also remembered the late Safai Haeri and said: Professor Safai had a multifaceted personality, each of whose students understood only a part of his intellectual dimensions and behavioral behavior. What has been done today with the publication of the growing book is a step towards rereading and expanding the professor's thoughts for a society that needs the meaning of life in everyday details.

He added: We believe that books and book reading are still the main pillars of transferring meaning; even in today's media age. This book can be an example of how, by being faithful to the original, language can be changed and the new generation can be led to deep reflection and study.

At the end of this ceremony, the son-in-law of the late Professor Safai also joined the speakers and spoke about the memories and personality traits of the deceased. He emphasized: I advise today's youth to follow the practical behavior of Professor Haeri more than anything else.

The growing book strives to present a contemporary narrative that can be used by teenagers, young adults, and even educational educators, based on Professor Safaei's specialized text; a narrative that is still profound, but in a new language and format.
