The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran said: "During my meeting with the Emir of Qatar on Thursday, I conveyed the oral message of the President of Iran to him."
According to Ashura News, citing ISNA, Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, in an interview with the Al-Sharq newspaper in Doha, the full text of which will be published on Sunday, praised the results of his meeting with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, and said: "In this meeting, I conveyed the oral message of President Masoud Pezzekian to the Emir of Qatar. This meeting was very important and influential."
He added: "In this conversation, the bilateral relations between Iran and Qatar, especially the misunderstanding that arose after Iran's attacks on the Al-Udeid base in Qatar, following the US attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, were examined."
Araghchi emphasized that the talks with the Emir of Qatar, as well as with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, were very fruitful, serious and useful.
The high-ranking diplomat of the Islamic Republic of Iran added: "In this meeting, we discussed several issues, starting with bilateral relations and the latest developments related to them. Fortunately, there are no differences between the two countries, and the misunderstanding that arose was also completely resolved with this visit."
The Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized: "We also discussed and exchanged views on solutions to achieve regional stability, especially the resumption of talks between regional countries to ensure security and cooperation in confronting the Israeli regime's hegemony and its aggression against regional countries."
Araghchi added: "The Iranian nuclear issue was also examined in detail in this meeting, and I explained the latest developments on this issue to the Emir of Qatar. Our friends in Qatar have always had good views and we have always exchanged views on these issues. "Valuable consultations were held during this meeting."
