According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency, Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, emphasized at the “Peacemakers” event, referring to the 12-day imposed war: This conflict was the most complex war in the world, and the enemy’s miscalculations about the components of Iran’s power and reliance on material structures were the main factors in their defeat.

He said: The enemy was sure that this war would definitely come to fruition with the estimates they had. The operational strategy of this war was to deliver a strong and quick blow to the top of the war command in Iran in order to deprive Iran of the ability to fight at the moment. The top of the war command were four main people; Brigadier General Rashid, Brigadier General Bagheri, Brigadier General Salami, and Brigadier General Hajizadeh. The enemy’s estimate was that when these four people were targeted, the country’s military sphere would suffer a paralysis and defensive collapse, and the war would be dragged into Iran.

General Naeini stated: The enemy’s estimate was that when the defense structure collapsed, society would receive the message of rebellion, and the beginning of the street rebellion would be completed with terrorist operations and the overflow of counter-revolution from the borders. This 12-day war is the most complicated war in the world; they had seen everything and made all the calculations.

Ignoring the power of the people; the enemy’s most important miscalculation

He added: However, the enemy failed to estimate the components of our authority. Their most important miscalculation was that they thought that the Islamic Republic system derives its power solely from security and defense structures. They had the same miscalculation in the eight-year war. The enemy did not calculate the real power of the system, which is the people and is considered soft power, in its calculation system, and was unable to calculate it.

The IRGC spokesman emphasized: The enemy’s mistake was a wrong analysis of the nature of power in Iran. This calculation and wrong understanding stem from the enemy’s material calculations; that is, they put physical capabilities together. While Iran relies solely on its own power against the world's two nuclear powers and all the convergent and allied European and regional capacities. In this war, the enemy became a victim of its own cognitive war; that is, it believed in the "weak Iran" it had created and operated based on that belief.

Global belief in Iran's missile power and deterrence

He said: While on the contrary, in the 12-day war, the world believed in a "strong Iran". It became clear that our missile power is real and deterrent, and the Americans realized that confronting Iran's ballistic missiles is not an easy task.

Sardar Naeini, emphasizing that the recent war was a "strategic turning point", stated: This conflict was Iran's only battle with all of NATO and CENTCOM and changed the power equations in West Asia.

He said: Iran's localized military power clearly grounded strong intellectual centers in the Zionist regime. This war was not just a military war, but in many ways and was a strategic turning point that changed the power equations in West Asia. This war was a full-scale test to measure Iran’s defensive deterrence, offensive power, and the resilience of the Iranian nation, as well as a test to measure the enemy’s weaknesses and strengths.

He added: Martyr Soleimani has a famous saying that says, “Crises create opportunities,” and wars are the same. In every war, we gain 4 to 5 times more power, our weaknesses become clear, and we seek creativity, initiative, and innovation. Some military analysts in the world have suggested that the history of modern and modern wars is divided into before the 12-day war and after the 12-day war, meaning that this 12-day war is so important that they have introduced it as the most important and most frequent event in the wars of the world.

Iran's Battle with NATO and CENTCOM in the 12-Day War

Sardar Naeini stated: This war was Iran's battle with the entire NATO and CENTCOM. Iran stood independent and self-reliant against the entire NATO and CENTCOM. This war is a turning point in the developments of the 21st century. The imposed 12-day war is a model to learn from modern threats, new wars and hybrid wars. This war showed that the lines of the modern battlefield are not only land and geography, but also cyberspace, media, social perception and technology play a fundamental role in new wars.

He said: The main land of new battles is the land of minds and wills, and its main tool is technology, which is very different from previous wars. In this war, the young academic generation plays the first and decisive role.

Missile power; the identity card of young Iranians

He added: The Supreme Leader said that missile power is the identity card of the Iranian youth. The IRGC’s missile power, which was described as the identity card of the Iranian youth, was removed from the monopoly of the great powers by this Iranian youth and as an effective defense software. This important event is thanks to the wise measures of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution. 24-25 years ago, when Shahid Tehrani Moghadam went to him and said that the Chinese were giving us missiles, the leader said: “No, you have to produce them yourself.”; The leader has said the same thing in other areas of technology and industry.

The IRGC spokesman emphasized: The average age of Iran’s missile scientists, missile commanders, drone commanders, and commanders of our offensive vessels is 30 years old. All of them are the children of the third generation of the Islamic Revolution and graduates of the best universities with high averages. Shahid Hajizadeh is mainly known for his missiles, but I believe that his greatest work was training human resources; Very strong people who knew that the probability of their martyrdom under the blows of enemy attacks was 50 to 70 percent, but they carried out their mission well.

Emphasizing the continued readiness of the armed forces, General Naeini announced: Iran's missile power today has no geographical boundaries and the IRGC's capability in this battle is the result of the initiative and innovation of Iranian youth.

Permanent readiness and increased recruitment after the 12-day war

He said: Our missiles are being produced day and night, and we do not stop and we are constantly thinking about readiness. Today, we have young people who have several children and were on alert before the 12-day war and have been on alert for these 50 or so days and do not think about anything other than deterrence and strengthening. One of the blessings of this 12-day war was that recruitment for the IRGC increased. The places of martyrs were quickly filled, and the rate of recruitment of volunteers to work in aerospace and operational and combat sectors that are directly in the battlefield with the enemy increased.

He added: The trend of Iran's missile power today has no geographical latitude and longitude and is endless. Iranian youth are both masters of style in the game of war and innovators of new models in the field of defense; that is, we are constantly witnessing changes in tactics, planning, technology, creativity and innovation. Our missile responses in the 12-day war were accompanied by operational innovation. The goals set in the 22 subsequent waves of operations (Odeh Sadeq 3) were all strategic goals.

Sardar Naeini stated: The Americans were forced to use $4 million missiles in their defense systems in large quantities to intercept Iranian offensive drones, which had cost less than $10,000. The Supreme Command Headquarters of the war was with the United States. The employer was the United States, the executor was the Zionist regime, and others helped. In the end, the United States was forced to intervene directly to save the Zionist regime.

He added: Our missile attacks were not a simple military attack, but were combined with electronic warfare, cyber warfare, innovation and creativity. The 22 missile attack waves were constantly changing in terms of the origin of the launch, time, targets, number and type of missiles. This creativity, initiative, innovation and planning, the product of the experience and creative mind of our commanders, made the enemy desperate. The enemy, who was demanding an all-out defense, first said that because you are firing in large volumes, our systems will be saturated. Then we fired 2 missiles in one wave and 1 missile in another wave, which was presented as Iran's missile masterpiece.

Sacred Unity; The Reason for Iran's Victory in the 12-Day War

The IRGC spokesman emphasized: These missiles accurately hit a strategic center. One of the most important lessons of the 12-Day War was that it taught us that science and technology are the axis of progress and produce power. This war showed that progress in basic sciences, nuclear sciences, defense sciences and technology and the role of youth in this field made Iran's narrative weak. Unity and integrity and that sacred unity that the Leader of the Revolution named were the three main ways to victory.

Referring to the 37-year experiences after the Sacred Defense and its role in the success of the 12-Day War, General Naeini emphasized the four main pillars of Iran's defense doctrine and considered the most important factor for success to be "a correct understanding of the threat and the enemy."

He said: "Our success in the 12-Day War was thanks to the efforts made in these 36-37 years. If it were not for the experience of the Sacred Defense, the experience of the Resistance Front, and the efforts of Martyr Soleimani, we would not have been successful in the 12-Day War. In four decades, we have constantly built up our strength and our defense industry has grown with the experience of the Sacred Defense."

He added: "We became an enemy and threat analyst and did not take the threat lightly. During the 8-year war, no one considered the threat from Iraq to be more than an empty threat. If we had known, we would have adapted accordingly and 25-26 thousand kilometers of land would not have been occupied and it would not have taken a year to regain power." But today, a few hours after the Zionist regime's invasion, we have responded with missiles and immediately restored power, in a war that was much more intense than the 8-year war. So our understanding of the threat and the enemy changed.

Sardar Naeini stated: "We worked during this time; we correctly estimated the enemy, we estimated the enemy's scenarios, and we had a countermeasure plan in accordance with each scenario at sea, in the air, and on land. Our defense doctrine was formulated and communicated after the 8-year war. Our defense doctrine has four pillars; first, being defensive. We did not initiate the war and we think of being strong in the defense field with two goals: 1. To prevent the enemy from fighting, and 2. If war occurs, to defeat the enemy. Second, being self-reliant in the defense industry. We are building on the premise that no one is going to help us; power is endogenous. Third, being asymmetrical. Asymmetric warfare means that you may be capable in one component and the enemy in another; for example, the enemy has air superiority, you are superior.
