According to Ashura News, citing the Judiciary Media Center, Hojjatoleslamwalmuslimin Mohseni Ejei, during a speech at the Supreme Council of the Judiciary today (February 26), while congratulating the holy days and festivals of Shabaniyah, explained and explained some of the country's current issues and specifically emphasized the importance of the relentless fight against economic corruption, saying: Today, the fight against economic corruption is more important than in previous periods; we must put effective and deterrent measures on the agenda in order to eradicate economic corruption and confront economic corruptors; this is also not limited to the judiciary, and for this purpose, all competent forces and agencies must come to the fore.

The head of the Judiciary stated: The enemy is seeking to intensify its economic pressure and siege against the Iranian nation, and as a result, if it is able to launch unrest and terrorist acts again, and then military aggression; Of course, the enemy will certainly not succeed in any of the scenarios he designs, by God's grace, but we must also be very vigilant and not allow some profit-seeking, mercenary, and corrupt elements to make a dent in the people and their livelihoods in the midst of the enemy's all-out economic war; we will definitely deal with these elements decisively and without appeasement and in accordance with legal standards; just as we deal with perpetrators of terrorist acts and riots with utmost decisiveness and without the slightest leniency, in accordance with the law and justice.

The Chief Justice considered the trial and punishment of terrorists and street rioters, as well as the trial and punishment of economic corruptors, as two wings, and stated: We believe that it is as important as the trial and punishment of terrorist and rioter elements who committed the most heinous crimes against the people and defenders of security, to confront the creators of this atmosphere and the profiteers and corruptors who, in line with the intentions and purposes of the enemy, have also targeted the livelihoods of the people and the country's economy.

The Chief Justice continued, while referring to the specifics and characteristics of the enemy's economic war against the Iranian nation, and added: We must comprehensively and with all our might confront the war and economic siege of the treacherous enemy; in this way, in addition to the relentless and wise fight against economic corruption and drying up the roots of corruption, we must provide maximum support to healthy economic activists and productive enterprises; in this direction, ministries and influential institutions should come to the fore; The ministries of oil, economy, security, agricultural jihad, and the central bank should put effective measures on the agenda to close the loopholes of corruption and also to boost production and economic prosperity; we in the judiciary will definitely support and help them; why are these tensions arising in our market and in the currency issue today? There are those who intend to have healthy and productive economic activities and say; "We don't even want foreign exchange, just let the authorities remove the obstacles in front of us."; There are those who say; "With the credit we have, we can import goods into the country with our own currency and deliver those goods to consumers at a price lower than the current market price."; We should definitely provide comprehensive support to these healthy economic activists who, in the midst of the imposed economic war, are thinking about the greatness and dignity of the country and remove the obstacles in front of them.

The Chief Justice continued by criticizing the developments and said: Unfortunately, some people have not yet learned from the past and are willing to re-experience the failed paths and routes; they constantly recommend negotiations! They consider all paths to confront the aggression and bullying of the enemy to be blocked and constantly twist the script of negotiations with the treacherous enemy; the question that should be asked of this group is; Didn't the treacherous enemy impose war on us in the previous stage, in the middle of negotiations?

The Chief Justice emphasized that the scene of the conflict with the enemy is clear and obvious, and noted: "Now the scene of our confrontation with the enemy is very clear and obvious; the enemy imposed the 12-day war on us in the middle of negotiations, and of course, it surrendered and retreated due to the authority of Islamic Iran; then the enemy prepared for unrest and terrorist acts inside the country, and now it is determined that its all-out war and economic blockade will be fruitful. In fact, street unrest and all-out economic pressure are other stages of the enemy's 12-day war; on the other hand, the enemy has also equipped its military apparatus in our region and, in line with psychological operations against the minds of our people, speaks of the imminent military aggression; whether this comes true or not, these are the enemy's plans and tricks to bring us to our knees and surrender Islamic Iran; something that is impossible by the grace and providence of God."

In part of his speech at today's meeting, Hojjatoleslamwalmuslimin Mohseni Ejei, referring to the upcoming Mid-Shaban and the birth of Imam al-Zaman (may Allah hasten his return), emphasized: This year, the Mid-Shaban and the birth of Imam al-Zaman (a.s.) should be held with greater splendor and grandeur than in previous years so that the world knows that belief in Mahdism among the people of Islamic Iran is a firm belief, and on this basis, Islamic Iran has put its paws in the paws of the arrogant and tyrants.

The head of the judiciary also called on all judicial officials and officials to attend mosques and public gatherings and listen directly to the people's issues and problems and resolve them within the limits of legal ability and possibilities.
