The foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia warned of the consequences of escalating tensions in the region.
According to Ashura News, citing IRNA, Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, continued his diplomatic consultations by talking to Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan on the phone today, Wednesday.
In this phone call, the Iranian and Saudi foreign ministers reviewed the topics of the fruitful discussion between President Pezizkian and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and exchanged views on regional and international developments.
The parties, while warning of the dangerous consequences of any escalation of tensions in the region on regional peace and stability, emphasized the shared responsibility of all regional countries and their joint efforts to maintain stability and security in the region.
