Sheikh Naim Qassem: Resistance is the guarantee of Lebanese sovereignty/I will not negotiate with Israeli servants in Lebanon

The Secretary General of Hezbollah noted: Martyr Ahmed Qusayr made his decision and contacted the brothers. He added: "He taught us a lesson with his blood and drew for us the path that leads to God Almighty and to a life of dignity, freedom and dignity."

Sheikh Naim Qassem emphasized: Martyr Ahmed Qusayr was able to cause widespread casualties on 8 floors of the building, and the explosion left 76 dead and 118 injured, which shook the morale of the Zionist regime and paved the way for the enemy's humiliating retreat from Lebanon.

The Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon added: When we celebrate the anniversary of Martyr Qusayr, we will remember all the martyrs, perhaps those who drove in bombed cars or were martyred in confrontations with the enemy or were martyred while traveling.

The Secretary General of Hezbollah stated: In 1982, Israel entered Lebanon claiming to want to expel Palestinian groups; but it remained as an occupying party until 2000. Israel launched a group called the "Free Lebanese Army" and then changed its name to the "Southern Lebanese Army", which was an attempt to say that the problem in Lebanon is internal and has nothing to do with this regime. Israel withdrew in disgrace in 2000 due to resistance attacks and with the help of martyr Ahmed Qusayr and his brothers.

He emphasized: Israel did not withdraw from Lebanon through negotiations and politics; rather, it was expelled unconditionally and through resistance actions.

He added: We have been told that "an eye cannot withstand a needle," but we used to say that Israel is an occupying regime and must be resisted. Hezbollah waged jihad and resistance against the occupier and stood by Palestine.

The Hezbollah Secretary General emphasized: From 2000 to 2023, deterrence existed due to resistance and due to the golden equation, and we prevented Israel's expansionist project.

Sheikh Naim Qassem noted: We made many sacrifices in the battle of "Awliya al-Bas" and prevented Israel from achieving its goals and stood as an obstacle to the regime's onslaught.

The Secretary General of Hezbollah stated: The legendary steadfastness of the resistance forces stopped 75,000 Israeli soldiers who could not enter Lebanon except a few hundred meters.

Sheikh Naim Qassem noted: The ceasefire agreement was reached on October 27, 2024, and according to it, the enemy had to withdraw south of the Litani River and the Lebanese army was deployed, and from our point of view in the agreement, this was an acceptable price, which was the deployment of the Lebanese army, because they are our people and our compatriots.

Sheikh Naim Qassem added: The resistance took responsibility for 42 years. The Lebanese government announced that this time it will take responsibility itself, we left the path open to the Lebanese government and we approve of anyone who seeks to defend this homeland.

He added: Israel failed because it did not achieve its goals from its aggression and this regime must withdraw from southern Lebanon based on the agreement.

The Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah stated: America and Israel will interfere in the future of Lebanon and want to end the power of the Lebanese resistance and arm the army to confront the resistance and not to confront the Israeli enemy.

Sheikh Naim Qassem said: We have sacrificed our heads in the way of God and the devils will not rule over us. The resistance will not surrender despite the losses and threats.

He added: Israel wants to rule Lebanon politically and economically and Lebanon to be the regime’s backyard to continue building Zionist settlements within the framework of the Greater Israel plan.

He stated: The Lebanese government, unfortunately, has seen nothing from the ministerial statement except the disarmament of the resistance.

The Hezbollah Secretary General added: Israel kills Lebanese civilians in their homes, destroys houses, prevents people from returning to their homes, and does not allow them to live in villages. The UNIFIL spokesman says that Israel has committed more than 7,000 ceasefire violations, while Hezbollah has committed no violations in the UNIFIL area of ​​operations.

Sheikh Naim Qassem said: I will not negotiate with Israeli servants who do not defend the citizens of their country and do not condemn Israeli aggression. I ask free people why the Lebanese government does not develop a time plan to regain national sovereignty.

He emphasized: US envoy Thomas Barak publicly says that he wants to arm the Lebanese army to confront its resistant people, so how can the Lebanese government agree to this?

The Hezbollah Secretary General added: We will not replace this agreement with another agreement, and this agreement must be implemented. Israeli aggression must not continue, and everything has a limit.

He emphasized: If southern Lebanon has a wound, this wound will spread throughout Lebanon.

The Hezbollah Secretary General noted: Israel is not looking for an excuse for its aggression, because the essence of our existence is an excuse for this regime. They want to commit genocide against us, and we are facing a real existential threat, and it is our right to do everything to confront this threat.

Sheikh Naim Qassem said: Creating fear and terror and applying pressure will not change our position, and we will defend our land, people, and dignity, and we will not hand over the future of our generations to the hands of arrogant people and mercenaries.
