According to Ashura News, citing Al-Mayadeen, after 41 years in prison, George Ibrahim Abdullah, a Lebanese fighter and staunch supporter of the Palestinian cause, was finally released from French prisons and arrived at Beirut International Airport a few minutes ago.

In a speech to the welcoming crowd, he said: The resistance in Palestine must flare up. It is shameful that Arab countries are spectators of the suffering of Palestinians and residents of Gaza.

This Lebanese fighter said: We bow our heads forever to the martyrs of the resistance, and they are the fundamental foundation of any liberating thought.

George Abdullah emphasized: It is a mistake for Arab countries to be spectators and they should all gather around the axis of resistance. The Egyptians can change the situation in Gaza. As long as there is resistance, there is also a return to the homeland.

Abdullah emphasized: The liberation struggle and confrontation with Israel must continue. Israel has reached the end of the road. It is regrettable that millions of Arabs are witnessing Palestinian children dying of hunger, and this is shameful.

He added: "The resistance is rooted in this land and it cannot be destroyed. The resistance is not weak, but strong with its martyrs. Today, more than ever, we must gather around the axis of resistance."

On the other hand, Ibrahim Mousavi, a representative of Hezbollah in the Lebanese parliament, addressed George Abdullah and said: "You are a symbol of resistance and strength, stability, honor and independence."
