In a meeting with thousands of people from different walks of life, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized: "The country's servants, especially the hardworking and dedicated president, must be supported."
According to Ashura News, citing ISNA, this morning, on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Rauf, Hazrat Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (AS), in a meeting with thousands of people from different walks of life, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution called the "extraordinary spread of the Ahl al-Bayt school" and "the acceleration of the spread of the issue of Ashura and the philosophy of Imam Hussein's uprising in the Islamic world" the most important blessings of the eighth Imam's visit to Khorasan. He explained important points about the issues of the day and emphasized: Iran's enemies have understood from the "strong stand and unity of the nation, officials and armed forces" and "enduring severe defeat in military attacks" that the Iranian nation and the Islamic system cannot be brought to their knees and obeyed through war; therefore, they are now pursuing this goal by "creating discord in the country," while in return, all people, officials and people of speech and writing must, with all their might, preserve and strengthen the "steel shield of the sacred and great unity of the nation."
In the first part of his speech, Ayatollah Khamenei called the Eighth Imam a blessing to all of humanity, especially Iranians. He offered condolences on the martyrdom of Imam Rauf, and while expressing the outstanding impact of that Imam’s visit to Khorasan, he said: The school of Ahl al-Bayt, which was isolated and oppressed after the martyrdom of the Master of the Martyrs (AS), emerged from its isolation in light of the results of that visit, and the Shiites found a spirit that was able to preserve Shiism in history and expand the followers of the school of Ahl al-Bayt every day.
He considered the creation of a leap in promoting the issue of Ashura as the second most important result of the Eighth Imam’s visit to Khorasan, adding: By drawing people’s attention to the Ashura uprising, Hazrat Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (AS) placed its philosophy and goals, namely “fighting injustice” and “not tolerating the wicked and corrupt in Islamic society,” in the center of people’s minds, and paved the way for the design, explanation, and promotion of many social teachings of Islam.
In the second part of his speech on current affairs, Ayatollah Khamenei cited the nation's steadfastness in full force and power in the Second Imposed War as the cause of the special greatness and double dignity of the Iranian nation in the eyes of the world, and asked an important question: What is really the reason for the continuous hostility of all American governments towards Iran in the last 45 years?
In response to this seemingly simple but complex question, he added: In the past, Americans hid the real reason for this hostility under titles such as terrorism, human rights, democracy, the women's issue, and similar issues, or they said honorably that they wanted to change Iran's behavior, but this person who is in office in America today revealed the real reason for the hostility towards Iran and said, "We want Iran to listen to us." In other words, we actually want the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic system to listen to our commands.
Emphasizing the importance of deeply understanding this sinister goal of the Americans, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said: They want Iran, with its great history and nation with all its honor and pride, to listen to America's commands.
He called those who say that the reason for America's anger and hostility is the slogans of the Iranian nation, superficial people, and added: Those who say, "Why don't you negotiate directly with America and solve the problems?" are superficial people, because this is not the essence of the matter, and in light of America's real goal of hostility towards Iran, these problems are unsolvable.
Ayatollah Khamenei called the words and actions of American officials to bring the Iranian nation to its knees and obey them an insult to the Iranians, and emphasized: The nation is deeply offended by such an ugly expectation and will stand up to this demand with strength.
He considered the real cause of the recent war to be this same malicious expectation and goal, and added: They provoked and helped the Zionist regime to finish off the Islamic Republic in their own way, because they did not imagine that the nation would stand up to them and strike such a blow that they would regret it.
Referring to the gathering of a number of American mercenary agents in Europe, one day after the start of the war, to discuss determining the government after the Islamic Republic, the Leader of the Revolution said: They were so delusional and confident in the realization of their ridiculous goals that they held a meeting to determine the next government one day after the start of the attack and also appointed a king.
Referring to the presence of an Iranian among those idiots, Ayatollah Khamenei said: Dust on the head of that Iranian who works against his country and in favor of Jews, Zionism, and America.
The Leader of the Revolution called the crude notion of a distance between the people and the system another illusion of their enemies and mercenaries and said: The nation, however, by standing by the system, the armed forces, and the government, punched them all in the mouth.
He called the display of power by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic a change in the equations and added: We and the entire Iranian nation thank the armed forces for their great work, and after this, the strength and capabilities of Iran and its armed forces will increase day by day.
Ayatollah Khamenei considered the enemy’s summary of recent events as an inability to bring Iran to its knees through war and military attack, and said: Despite these hostilities, the Islamic Republic has become stronger every day over the past 45 years, and the enemy has also realized that the way to push back the Islamic Republic is not to use violent means and means, but rather to create discord and hypocrisy within the country.
He considered the internal factors of America and Zionism in every corner of the country and the heedless speakers and writers to be the ones who created discord and polyphony, and added: Today, thank God, the people are united and, despite differences in political and social tastes, they are united in defending the system and the country and standing against the enemy, and this unity prevents the aggression and aggression of the enemies, and for this reason, they are seeking to destroy this unity.
Protecting the sacred unity is a universal duty and those who tweet
The Leader of the Revolution considered protecting the national unity a universal duty and said: The sacred unity, the great community and the steel shield of the hearts and wills of the people must not be tarnished, and preserving it is the duty of those who speak, write and research, those who tweet, and all the people and officials of the country, especially the officials of the three branches of government, who, thank God, are also working together in perfect unity and solidarity today.
He called supporting the country’s servants essential and added: People should support the servants, including the President, who is hardworking, diligent and persistent; because such elements should be appreciated.
Ayatollah Khamenei considered it a definite necessity to maintain unity between “the people with each other,” “the people and the state,” “the officials of the system with each other,” and “the people and the armed forces,” and added: Signs and evidence indicate that today the enemy’s greatest effort is to undermine this harmony, empathy, and cooperation.
Emphasizing that there is nothing wrong with having different opinions on various issues, he said: People of thought should pay attention to the fact that presenting a new thought that complements the existence of the nation is different from destroying and insulting it, and one should not destroy the foundations of the Islamic Republic that lead to the growth of the nation and the advancement of the country and national power. This is the enemy’s desire, although there is nothing wrong with completing the foundations.
The Leader of the Revolution called the Zionist regime the most hated regime and government in the world among the nations and noted: Today, even Western governments such as England and France, which have always supported the Zionist regime, condemn it; of course, these condemnations are mere words and useless.
He called the current crimes of the leaders of the Zionist regime, such as killing children by starvation and thirst and forcing them to queue for food, unprecedented in human history and added: We must stand against these disgusting crimes; of course, standing with words and condemnation is of no use, but rather, like the brave people of Yemen, we must do something to close the ways of helping the Zionist regime from all sides.
In conclusion, Ayatollah Khamenei announced the readiness of the Islamic Republic to take any possible action in this regard and expressed his hope that God Almighty, by blessing the movement of the Iranian nation and all the right-seekers of the world, will uproot this deep and deadly cancer from the region and awaken and unite the Muslim nations.
At this ceremony, the attendees, along with the Ahlul Bayt eulogists, Mr. Hamid Dadwandi and Majid Bani Fatemeh, mourned the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Eighth Imam (AS) by reciting the Ziyarat of Aminullah and singing a dirge.
