Eshaq Abdollahi, a distinguished reciter from Qom province, will represent the Islamic Republic of Iran in the 23rd International Quran Competition in Russia.
According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, the 23rd International Quran Competition in Russia will be held in Moscow in the fall.
Ishaq Abdollahi, a distinguished reciter from Qom province and the reciter and muezzin of the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (PBUH) and Jamkaran Mosque, has been selected by the committee to send and invite reciters to participate in this global competition.
Last year, he received the fifth place in the research recitation category for men in the vocal section of the 47th National Holy Quran Competition of the Endowments and Charity Affairs Organization (Azar 1403/Tabriz).
Ishaq Abdollahi is a Quran teacher and has the first place in the national Basij and Red Crescent competitions. Among other ranks of this young reciter, he, as a representative of the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (PBUH), won the fourth place in the research recitation category in the third International Quran Memorization and Recitation Competition of the Karbala Prize.
It is worth noting that last year, in the 22nd International Quran Competition in Russia, Mohammad Rasool Takbiri, the Grand Memor of the Holy Quran, was present as the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and this young memorizer, despite being qualified, failed to reach the rank.
In this year's event, Iran is only sending a delegation in the field of reciting the Holy Quran.
