The head of the judiciary announced: "Some economic activists have raised issues about the currency situation in recent days, and given that this situation is not natural and, according to them, was created, he ordered the head of the Inspection Organization to examine the issue in an extraordinary meeting of the Coordination Council of Supervisory Bodies."
According to Ashura News, quoting Fars News Agency, citing the Judiciary Media Center, Hojjatoleslam Walmoslemin Mohseni Ejei, speaking at the Supreme Council of the Judiciary on Monday (December 17), while referring to the issue of the exchange rate, stated: "In recent days, some economic activists have raised issues regarding the exchange rate in various meetings; in our recent meeting in Zanjan, someone claimed that the current situation of the exchange rate is not natural, but rather something that they have created; however, I order the head of the Inspection Organization to raise this issue in an extraordinary meeting of the Coordination Council of Supervisory Bodies and to hold an extraordinary meeting of the said council in this regard; in that meeting, efforts should be made to use the viewpoints of economists and Central Bank officials. In any case, the Central Bank is responsible in this matter; certainly, if there has been any negligence or negligence in this regard and individuals have committed violations, they should be introduced." It should be noted that the exchange rate is related to the value of the national currency, and even services and goods that are not directly related to the exchange rate may experience price changes due to exchange rate fluctuations.
The Head of the Judiciary continued by referring to the upcoming birthday of Hazrat Zahra (peace be upon her) and Women's Day, while congratulating and celebrating this day, and addressed the Judiciary Research Institute and his Women's Affairs Advisor to work on a comprehensive and multi-dimensional study of the high status of women and mothers in society and family, based on the Supreme Leader's recent valuable and important statements on the status, dignity, and rights of women and the injustices and abuses against women in the West, and to take appropriate measures in coordination with the legislative branch and the women's faction of the Majlis, to amend or enact laws in this area, if necessary. The Head of the Judiciary also thanked the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation for repeatedly broadcasting the Supreme Leader's valuable and high-profile statements on the status, dignity, and rights of women and the injustices and abuses against women in the West. The Head of the Judiciary continued by celebrating Student Day once again and said: Yesterday, I was able to be present among students once again; Indeed, one is delighted when one observes the concern and demands of students; the criticisms that students make are often correct and justified; when one hears these criticisms, one realizes that, contrary to the wishes of ill-wishers and enemies, our youth and students are insightful and aware, and are awake and concerned about the country’s issues, and are far from passive.
Stating that Student Day has an aspect of anti-arrogance and confrontation with foreign domination, the Chief Justice noted: Student Day is a reminder of the events that took place on December 16, 1953, and it is an anti-arrogance event; on that day, our students, as the awakened consciences of society, could not tolerate the reception of the US Vice President, who played a major role in the shameful coup of August 19, by the tyrannical regime and traitors to the homeland, and they protested; On that day, a group of students were injured, and three of them, namely Ghandchi, Bozorgnia, and Shariat-Razavi, were also martyred. In conclusion, referring to the two recent provincial trips of the High Judicial Delegation to the provinces of Yazd and Zanjan, Hojatoleslam Walmuslemin Mohseni Ejei ordered the competent judicial authorities to fulfill every promise made to the people during these trips and to focus their efforts so that all the decisions made during these trips are implemented. In this regard, the head of the judiciary emphasized: "It should not be the case that people say, 'They came, they merely made a promise, and then they left.'"
