According to Ashura News, quoting ISNA, the 75th session of the Cabinet was held this afternoon (Sunday) under the chairmanship of President Masoud Pezshkian.
In this session, the report on the smart and digital governance plan, which was developed by the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support, was discussed and reviewed by the cabinet members.
In this context, the President considered the implementation of the "connected vehicles" plan in line with the smart monitoring of drivers' traffic behavior and the increase in road cameras as an effective measure in reducing violations and accidents.
Pezshkian also referred to the importance of systems such as "cadastre" (electronic property management), "GNEV" (identification of places) and the implementation of Article 169 of the Tax Law, calling these measures among the government's strategic plans on the path to realizing smart governance and effective tools in combating corruption, rent and smuggling, and emphasized the need to accelerate the collection of necessary data and the operational implementation of these plans.
In the continuation of the meeting, Minister of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare Midari presented a report on the diverse programs of the Labor Week and the enthusiastic reception of these programs by the labor community, especially the Labor Day ceremony with the presence of the President.
The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also presented a report on the latest status of planning, coordination and measures related to sending pilgrims to the Hajj Tamattu and remaining issues in this area.
In another part of the meeting, Foreign Minister Araghchi also reported on the latest status of indirect negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America to the President and the Cabinet.
