President: No nation or human being should be treated except with justice

According to Ashura News, on the evening of May 5, at the closing ceremony of the International Congress of Imam Reza (AS) held in the Quds Hall of the Holy Razavi Shrine, while commemorating the memory of the martyrs and the martyr of the people, Masoud Pezzekian stated: All efforts are being made to revive the path of the Imams. In the Quran, God says that We created mankind in a noble manner. This morning, I was in a meeting for the members of the Assembly of Experts in Qom when we heard a sacred hadith from a great man who said that God created the earth for man, that man’s life is based on knowledge, that knowledge is based on action, and that action is based on sincerity.

He added: The Earth is a small ball on the path of the galaxy. From this side of the galaxy to that part is 200,000 light years of time. We are a small ball here that is not visible in comparison to the galaxy, the Milky Way galaxy is not even a single point among billions of other galaxies. Nevertheless, God says that We created the earth and everything in it for man. God says, "I will teach man all knowledge and skills," and He ordered everyone to prostrate to him. Everyone prostrated except Satan, who was arrogant and proud of knowledge and wisdom.

The President continued: "When we were young, we used to argue with our fellow students at the university, asking, 'How far is your worldview so that I can know whose side I am on?' The dignity of a person is independent of race, ethnicity, and tribe, and stems from wisdom, knowledge, and honesty. A person is more honorable before God who is more pious. In the dialect of Imam Ali and the Quran, piety means making a decision without error and moving for God. In Sermon 16 of Nahj al-Balagha, Imam Ali (AS) says, 'Mistake is a wild horse, and the one who makes a mistake is riding a wild horse that is not in his hand and will end up in hell, and piety is a tame horse that will take him to heaven. In piety, the principle of destruction has no meaning.'"

Pezizian stated that if we have a problem, we should blame ourselves and said: If we cannot implement justice and truth as we should, the problem is mine, not the people, I must reform myself, not the society. Why is Imam Reza alive forever and people follow him with love? Because his life and behavior are inspiring and we must also follow his path.

Stating that we must build a nation and society that is in accordance with the path of Imam Reza, he said: The path of the Imam means justice for all and oppression for no one. This should become a guideline for life, meaning that no nation or human being should be treated except with justice. The brother of Imam Ali demanded more from him than his right from the treasury, and the Imam offered hot iron to his brother. Are we like this?

The President continued: We should be the adornment of our Imam, not the cause of his disgrace. We should be able to write specific guidelines for our communities and live by them. We are the ones who should put this belief into practice in society, piety in action means moving without mistakes. Why don't you act on the verses of the Quran? It has a clear right and we must express it. We must adapt ourselves to the right. I may make mistakes every time and I must adapt myself to the right. Imam Reza used to debate with atheists during his time as crown prince.

Pezizian stated that Imam Reza lived in a society where even atheists had the right to speak, and added: We must do the same. Imam Reza dealt with people with logic and reason. We have logic and we must prove our point to the youth and the next generation with it. The right is for us to implement, not to say that we are the right. If I, as the head of the country, make a mistake, I must be dealt with.

He stated: I hope that the presence of scientists and dear guests at this congress will lead to the clarification of the path of man and the establishment of justice. Imam Ali (AS) says: "Keep justice between people and God, yourself and your people and relatives, otherwise you will have committed injustice. Whoever oppresses his servants, God will become an enemy to him."

The President emphasized: "If we all want for the people what we want for ourselves and our faction, this government will definitely last and its light will show itself in the world. Why should we Muslims fight with each other? If we have unity, can Israel humiliate and destroy us? We must return to ourselves and implement unity and cohesion within our own country and with Islamic countries."
