In Sermon 11 of Nahjul Balagha, Imam Ali (AS) mentions a condition for victory and victory.
According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr reporter, Hojjatoleslam Hamidreza Mahdavi Arfa, in a series of articles titled Nahjul-Balagha and Resistance, pointed out the important lessons of Nahjul-Balagha in today’s war situation. Referring to Sermon 11 of Nahjul-Balagha, he said:
Every human being and every human community, along with their abilities and capabilities, also has weaknesses and inabilities.
According to the rational rule, every human being and community needs the help and assistance of other individuals and communities.
And this need, in most cases, becomes the Achilles’ heel of a dignified life, freedom and liberty of individuals and communities.
People of arrogance and domination often use the needs and weaknesses of others as an excuse to dominate them, enslave them, and exploit them.
That is why the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) wrote to his beloved son in a general statement:
Never be a slave to others, for God has created you free. (Nahj al-Balagha; Letter 31)
And he teaches the believers in general that: “The loss of a need is easier to bear than the demand of a need from someone other than its possessor.”
With these premises, reason and nature constantly remind us to connect ourselves and ourselves to someone and seek help from someone whose power is infinite, independent, and inherent, and every possessor of power has gained power and ability, and that is none other than God Almighty.
Therefore, in the eleventh sermon of Nahj al-Balagha, we read: “And know that victory comes from Allah, the Exalted.”
And know that victory comes from Allah, the Exalted.
Nahj al-Balagha; Sermon 11
