According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency, Ayatollah Khamenei said in the third video message after the Zionist regime's invasion of the country: "With all that noise, with all those claims, the Zionist regime almost collapsed and was crushed under the blows of the Islamic Republic. The thought that such blows could be inflicted on the regime by the Islamic Republic did not enter their minds and imaginations, and it happened. We thank God that He helped our armed forces, they were able to pass through their advanced multi-layered defense and raze many of their urban and military areas to the ground under the pressure of their own missiles and with the strong attack of their own advanced weapons! This is one of the greatest blessings of God; this shows that the Zionist regime knows that attacking the Islamic Republic of Iran is costly for it, creates costs for it, creates and will create heavy costs for it." And thank God, this happened; the honor belongs to our beloved armed forces and people who created these armed forces from within themselves, trained them, supported them, and provided them with [strong] hands to carry out such a great task.

The full text of the message is as follows:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Peace and blessings to the dear and great nation of Iran. First of all, I honor the memory of the precious martyrs of the recent events; the martyred generals, martyred scientists who were truly and justly valuable to the Islamic Republic and served, and today, God willing, they will receive the reward for their distinguished services in front of God.

I consider it necessary to congratulate the great nation of Iran. I would like to offer a few congratulations to the nation:

First, congratulations on the victory over the fake Zionist regime. The Zionist regime, with all that noise, with all those claims, almost collapsed and was crushed under the blows of the Islamic Republic. The thought that such strikes by the Islamic Republic could be inflicted on the regime did not enter their minds and imaginations, and it happened. We thank God for helping our armed forces, who were able to break through their advanced multi-layered defenses and raze many of their urban and military areas to the ground under the pressure of their own missiles and with the powerful offensive of their own advanced weapons! This is one of the greatest blessings of God; it shows that the Zionist regime knows that attacking the Islamic Republic of Iran is costly for it, creates costs for it, creates and will create heavy costs for it. And thank God, this happened; the honor belongs to our beloved armed forces and people who created these armed forces from within themselves, trained them, supported them, and provided and strengthened their [strong] hands to carry out such a great task.

The second congratulations are related to the victory of our beloved Iran over the American regime. The American regime entered into a direct war because it felt that if it did not enter, the Zionist regime would be completely destroyed. It entered the war to save it, but it did not achieve anything from this war. They attacked our nuclear facilities, which of course is independently worthy of criminal prosecution in international courts, but they were unable to do anything important. The President of the United States (1) exaggerated the events in an unusual way, and it turned out that he needed this exaggeration; anyone who heard those words understood that there was another truth beneath the surface of these words. They could not do anything, they could not achieve their goal, and they exaggerate to cover up the truth and keep it secret. Here too, the Islamic Republic won, and in return, the Islamic Republic slapped America in the face. It attacked one of the important American bases in the region, the Al-Udeid base, and caused some damage. The same people who had exaggerated the incident in that case tried to minimize it in this case, to say that nothing had happened, while a major incident had occurred. The fact that the Islamic Republic has access to important American centers in the region and can take action against them whenever it deems necessary is not a small incident, it is a major incident, and this incident can be repeated in the future; if an attack is made, the cost to the enemy and the victim will definitely be high.

The third congratulations are congratulations on the extraordinary unity and solidarity of the Iranian nation. Thank God, a nation of about ninety million people, united, with one voice, shoulder to shoulder, side by side, without any difference in the demands and intentions they express, stood, chanted slogans, spoke, supported the behavior of the armed forces, and it will be the same from now on. The Iranian nation showed its magnanimity, its outstanding and distinguished personality in this matter and showed that when necessary, one voice from this nation will be heard, and thank God this happened.

The point I want to make as a fundamental point of my petition is that the US President said in one of his statements and statements that Iran must surrender. “Surrender”! The issue is no longer enrichment, it is not the issue of the nuclear industry, it is the issue of Iran’s surrender. Of course, this is a big word for the US President to say. Great Iran, Iran with this history, Iran with this culture, Iran with this steely national determination, the word “surrender” for such a country is a source of ridicule for those who know the Iranian nation. But his statement revealed a truth; Americans have been engaged in conflict with Islamic Iran since the beginning of the revolution, they have been lashing out, and each time they have an excuse: once it is human rights, once it is defending democracy, once it is women’s rights, once it is enrichment, once it is the core nuclear issue, once it is the issue of missile production; They make various excuses, but the essence of the matter is nothing more than “Iran’s surrender.” The previous ones did not say this because it is unacceptable; it is not acceptable in any human logic to tell a nation to surrender, so they hid it under other titles. This person exposed that truth, showed it and made it clear that the Americans will only be satisfied with Iran’s surrender and nothing less. And this is an important point! The Iranian nation should know that this is the [reason] for the opposition to America, and that this great insult to the Iranian nation is the Americans’, and such an event will never happen; it will never happen.

The Iranian nation is a great nation, Iran is a strong and vast country, Iran has an ancient civilization; our cultural and civilizational wealth is hundreds of times greater than that of America and the likes of America. For someone to expect Iran to surrender to another country is one of those false nonsense that will certainly be the subject of ridicule by wise and knowledgeable people. The nation of Iran is dear and will be dear, it is victorious and will be victorious by the grace of God. And we hope that God Almighty will always protect this nation under the shadow of His grace with dignity and honor, elevate the ranks of the great Imam, and make the remaining people of Allah (may our souls be sacrificed) happy and pleased with this nation, and that His help will support this nation.

And peace be upon you, the mercy of God and His blessings.
