According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency, Ali Bahadori Jahromi stated regarding the media's concerns regarding the false report of quasi-state companies that was delivered to the Leader of the Revolution by Martyr Raisi: "In recent days, we have seen that some people in cyberspace have used the recent statements of the Supreme Leader as an excuse to attack this dear martyr again. We say, if you accept the statements of the Supreme Leader, it would be good to pay attention to all of his past statements and statements about this martyr and see what he had to say about Martyr Raisi.

Cite all of the Leader's descriptions of Martyr Raisi

Referring to the words of the Leader of the Revolution regarding the personality of Martyr Raisi, he reminded: He said that Martyr Raisi is similar to Amir Kabir in some features. Now the question is why should these descriptions have been made by the Supreme Leader? It is good for anyone who cites these statements to pay attention to all of its dimensions and take them into account. If someone cites the words of His Holiness regarding Martyr Raisi, they should pay attention to all his characteristics, including management, expertise, hard work, public activities, and other points, and use them as the basis for their analysis.

The spokesperson for the 13th government continued in this regard: In this case, there is no discussion left, and those who intend to have negative perceptions of these words should, instead of distorting them, correct themselves and respect what His Holiness said in describing him. In fact, if someone is truly moral, they should be ashamed of these unfair analyses. In response to this point, I say that if there is someone at home, this one word is enough.

The story of the Revolutionary Leader’s meeting with Martyr Raisi and the presentation of the report on quasi-state companies

The spokesperson for the 13th government, explaining some of the reports on semi-state companies that the Martyr President had presented to the Leader, said: Now, regarding the specific reports mentioned, I must say that we were also present at meetings whose images have been published in the media. In these meetings, His Eminence raised an incident that was specifically in support of Martyr Raisi and his approach to certain issues. In his speech, he mentioned issues such as quasi-state companies, which are considered one of the major challenges in governing the country. His Eminence emphasized that these companies, which are usually quasi-state in nature, are used as piggy banks for governments instead of providing for the public interests of the people. Many of these companies, after privatization, remained in the hands of government groups and institutions, instead of falling into the hands of the people, and the situation became much worse.

Bahadori Jahromi continued: "In fact, privatization was not carried out properly in the country, and many of these companies remained quasi-state-owned instead of being transferred to the real private sector. This led to problems such as paying astronomical bills and financial abuses. One of the major problems of these companies is that in most of the past periods, these companies were used as secret sources of government funds, without being closely monitored. These companies were run quasi-privately, and in some cases, large salaries were paid and hiring was at their discretion, with no monitoring of them. This situation caused these companies to be removed from public and transparent processes and, instead of serving the people, they became a source for securing the interests of some groups."

The President Was Not Friendly to Anyone and Followed Up on False Reports

Emphasizing that the President was not friendly to anyone and followed up on false reports, the spokesperson for the 13th government stated: “Martyr Raisi, as the head of the judiciary, was not friendly to these companies and was seriously pursuing reforms in the face of these problems. In the reports he presented to the Leader, he always spoke of the need for fundamental reforms in these companies. For example, one of his plans to improve the situation of these companies was presented in the form of a program called “Progressive Plans,” which aimed to cooperate with these companies in a way that would both benefit the economic interests of these companies and their shareholders and would be in line with solving the problems and interests of the country and the people.”

Bahadori Jahromi added: In the energy sector, His Eminence suggested that large electricity-consuming companies generate electricity themselves so that electricity production does not suffer during peak consumption and at the same time, the country's electricity needs are also provided. Also, in the case of water, companies that are large water consumers were required to invest in projects such as water transmission lines from the Persian Gulf to the Central Plateau and to finance these projects. Another part of this plan was in the field of petrochemical companies.

The government spokesman noted: - After the issue of companies and the plan raised regarding their participation in national projects - after a while, His Eminence asked him to prepare a report on the performance of these companies and the progress of this plan. His Eminence emphasized that some of these companies do not have a good track record and called for a detailed examination of the performance of these companies to determine whether they have really fulfilled their duties or not. Following this request, reports were prepared by the companies on the orders of the President, and the government submitted the same report to His Holiness.

Bahadori Jahromi stated: In this report, which is the subject of our discussion, it was clearly evident that many of these companies have failed to fulfill their commitments and have not made much progress in their work, and Shahid Raisi pointed out in that meeting that His Holiness's concern and emphasis on the performance and negative history of the companies were correct, and according to this report, the companies had not done any effective work contrary to the promise they had made to the government. Especially in the petrochemical sector, which is considered one of the important economic sectors of the country, an acceptable situation was not observed. For example, the Persian Gulf Holding, which covers several petrochemical complexes, unfortunately did not achieve desirable results in the Pishran project.

Martyr Raisi's report to the Leader of the Revolution belonged to the elite, not the government

He continued: Therefore, first of all, this is not a government report, it is a report of the companies, Martyr Raisi is taking it from them and presenting it to His Eminence. Secondly, we also believe that this report was about the companies' lack of performance. This was also the Leader's desire that such companies should be asked to work and that this path that was started in Martyr Raisi's government should be continued and that they should be regularly followed up and the progress of the work should be monitored. To solve these problems, Martyr Raisi sought serious measures to correct the situation and improve the performance of these companies.

The government spokesman concluded by saying: This report and meeting became the basis for further follow-up and monitoring, and meetings that were held regularly on Thursdays were dedicated to following up on the companies' issues and improving their level of cooperation and performance. In the meantime, some companies, after serious reminders and follow-ups, took measures and were able to make progress in some areas. Especially in sectors such as electricity and water transmission lines, some companies were able to make positive moves. But for some other companies, such as these petrochemical companies, unfortunately, progress was still slow and insufficient.
