According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr correspondent, Tehran’s Islamic Republic Square witnessed an unparalleled epic of faith, insight, and gratitude today. At the funeral of the holy body of the distinguished martyr, the Revolutionary Guards’ martyr Mohammad Qobadi, a sea of people, including military and state officials, families of martyrs and veterans, youth, teenagers, and various segments of the people of the province, gathered to bid farewell to the hero of their homeland and once again renew their pledge with the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and the martyrs. This spiritual ceremony, which began at 9 am and lasted until almost 12 noon, displayed magnificent scenes of unity and empathy.

The pure and holy body of the Revolutionary Guards’ martyr Mohammad Qobadi, who attained the high status of martyrdom in defense of the homeland at the hands of the rabid and savage dog of the child-killing Zionist regime, was escorted by the passionate hands of the mourners from the Republic Square to the Lolagar Mosque.

The streets leading to the Republic Square were filled with a crowd of martyrs who had come to welcome this heavenly guest, holding flags of the Islamic Republic of Iran, photos of martyrs, and placards with themes of martyrdom and guardianship.

The atmosphere of the ceremony was mixed with deep sadness and grief, but full of national pride and honor. The slogans of “Hossein Hossein is our slogan, martyrdom is our honor,” “O free leader, we are ready, ready,” and “Death to America, death to Israel” echoed throughout the funeral procession. A group of people prepared the path for the martyr’s coffin by offering flowers and rose petals, and the eyes of many present bore witness to the tears flowing from separation and longing. The large presence of the families of the martyrs and veterans, especially the fathers and mothers who had themselves experienced the separation of their loved ones, gave this ceremony a special touch.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, Mohammad Esmaeil Asgari said in an interview with Mehr reporter: "Today, I have come to see off a man who is a hero, a man who brought us peace."

He added: "Today, Tehran is hosting a hero. A man of the people, but with a heart as wide as the sea, who sacrificed his life for our security and comfort." The streets leading to the Republic Square are crowded, but not from noise, but from hatred and respect. People have come to mourn the body of a loved one who they may not have known, but today we all feel close to him.

Asgari said: "Martyr Mohammad Dehghani and other martyrs taught us that to protect the homeland and values, one must sacrifice everything. This funeral is a reminder that heroes are always among us, sometimes in the guise of a neighbor, sometimes in the form of a friend, and sometimes in the form of the martyr whom we are seeing off today."

This Tehrani citizen continued: "Let the enemy know that we will stand until the end of our breath and will never bow down to oppression and humiliation or surrender to it." I did not know this high-ranking martyr, but I attended his funeral out of respect for his sacrifice and dedication to the homeland and people.

Before the official start of the funeral ceremony, the martyr's holy body was carried by mourners to his father's home in Vosog Alley, Republic Square, with flowers and a shower of flowers. This high-ranking martyr attained the high degree of martyrdom at the age of 27. According to the audience participating in the funeral ceremony, the most important personal characteristics of this martyr were his morality and faith.

Today, once again, the Iranian nation, by its presence in this magnificent epic, showed that the path of the martyrs continues and that no power will be able to weaken the determination and will of this nation in defending their values and ideals.

This ceremony, beyond a simple farewell, was a demonstration of national unity and cohesion. The presence of different segments of the people, with all tastes and thoughts, sent a clear message to domestic and foreign enemies that the Iranian nation is united and integrated in the defense of its identity.

The funeral of the body of Martyr Mohammad Qobadi not only reminded of the bravery of the warriors of Islam during the period of sacred defense, the defense of the sanctity of the Ahl al-Bayt, and the 12-day sacred defense against the Zionist regime, but also served as a blazing torch, lighting the way for future generations to follow the path of honor and pride of Islamic Iran, inspired by the martyrs' character.

At the end of the ceremony, the holy body of the Guardsman Martyr Mohammad Qobadi will be transferred to Behesht al-Zahra and buried alongside other martyrs and his fellow martyrs in plot 42 of the Martyrs' Cemetery. May his soul be happy and his path be full of travelers.
