The distortion of the Supreme Leader's words about Martyr Raisi is not only an oppression of the martyr himself, but also of the leadership. These distortions and destructions are taking place while the Supreme Leader used specific positive expressions about Martyr Raisi in the same speech on Saturday.
According to Ashura News, citing Tasnim, after the recent meeting of Imam Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, with the agents and officials of the regime, and his recollection of the reports of some state-owned companies to Martyr Raisi, some media outlets and political movements attacked his government and the personality of this martyr by attributing the word "relevant" to the idea or report of Martyr Raisi.
Hamidreza Moghadamfar, an expert on strategic issues and a university professor who was present at the meeting, provided details of the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution and analyzed the attacks on Ayatollah Raisi.
The text of this verbal note is as follows:
The attention of the Leader of the Revolution to the issue of people's livelihood, which is reflected both in the names of the year in recent years and in various meetings, made it predictable that in this year's Ramadan meeting with the regime's officials, important recommendations for solving livelihood issues would be raised by him. In this meeting, where I was fortunate to be present among the audience, he reiterated the point that "regarding the country's issues, what is of primary importance is the issue of the economy," and then pointed out the enemies' threats to pressure the Islamic Republic to provide the people with livelihoods. In his statements on Saturday, he listed the capacities to confront these threats, and also mentioned some important economic problems, including the issue of the devaluation of the national currency, which people are currently experiencing with the increase in the price of the currency. He pointed out a basic solution to solve this problem, which is related to the need for the return of foreign exchange from exporters of large industries. However, in the media environment, instead of paying attention to this basic strategy, some political groups, who may have an interest in marginalizing strategies in advance, distorted the Leader of the Revolution's clear statement about the idea of Martyr Raisi and adopted an approach of attacking him. An approach that they have always used to cover up the dark period of Iran's economy in the 1990s and to focus all economic problems on a 3-year period since the very beginning of the presidency of Shahid Raisi, and now they are resorting to distorting the statements of the Leader of the Revolution to document their attacks. The Leader of the Revolution, who famously said, "My heart is burning for Raisi," to those who ignore his achievements during his short presidency.
Imam Khamenei confirmed the approach of Martyr Raisi and criticized the tradition of fake statistics
About 45 minutes had passed since the beginning of the Leader of the Revolution's statements when, referring to the issue that some important and large state-owned companies do not return their foreign exchange earnings to the Central Bank after exporting, he recalled Martyr Raisi's idea to solve this problem, that companies should each commit to doing a great job in the country, which His Highness gave as an example the provision of drinking water and agriculture and the construction of a power plant. However, instead of taking operational action, these companies had prepared a formal report and presented it to fulfill their duty in order not to return national resources and to use it to eliminate losses or secure their own interests. This approach was also followed in many previous governments, but the Leader of the Revolution called the companies' report in this meeting frivolous and absurd, in which no action is observed. However, contrary to the cut-up narratives published with the aim of damaging the image of Martyr Raisi and the nonsense report attributed to him, these talks did not stop here. The Leader of the Revolution continued with these same sentences, confirming Martyr Raisi's idea to resolve the issue of returning the currency, in order to prevent the abuses of the biased. The Supreme Leader of the Revolution continued by saying: "He was looking for this. Well, these are among the things that must be done." The Leader of the Revolution immediately repeated this sentence: "These are among the things that must be done." In this way, they confirmed and emphasized Martyr Raisi's idea, which killed two birds with one stone. However, some people used this word of truth, i.e. "Mehmal", to create a will for the false and to harbor grudges against Martyr Raisi.
If they haven’t seen the previous interpretations, at least read these statements from Saturday in full
Distorting the words of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution regarding Martyr Raisi is not only an affront to the martyr himself, but also to the leadership. These distortions and destructions are taking place while at the beginning of this speech on Saturday, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution paints a picture of a mujahid president like this: “Last year, Martyr Raisi (may God be pleased with him) was present in this meeting and gave a detailed report of his own actions, services, and efforts, and today, God willing, by the grace of God, they are receiving and using the rewards of those efforts at the table of divine grace and mercy. With this eye, you dear managers, look at these services.” In addition, in the history of the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, both during his lifetime and after his martyrdom, positive interpretations and descriptions of his performance have been repeatedly used. If the distorters have not seen or do not want to see these descriptions, at least listen to this speech on Saturday in a meeting with the system's agents, or even just the first minute of it, so that they may repent for such distortions, if there is a mistake and it is not intentional.
Like Amir Kabir
To remind the Supreme Leader of the Revolution of his opinion about the martyr Raisi, it is not a bad idea to review some of his rare and even unique former expressions. In his first meeting with members of the 14th government, Imam Khamenei stated that the members of the government should not consider the 4-year period of service as a privilege: "Four years pass quickly, but great things can be done in this fleeting period. Amir Kabir ruled the country for three years, establishing great things. Our dear Mr. Raisi himself ruled and presided for three years, he did good things and established some things, the fruits of which, God willing, the country will see later." The Leader of the Revolution’s description of Martyr Raisi in this meeting did not end with his comparison with the Great Amir. He continued by advising Dr. Pezkisian: “If, for example, he can prepare a hundred young, motivated, committed revolutionary believers and hand over these same hundred young people to the country at the end of his government, in my opinion, a very great job has been done.” He continued by saying: “The late Martyr Raisi had great success in this field, God willing, may your success be many times greater than his.”
He also expressed clear descriptions in support of his government in Shahrivar 1402, during the life of Martyr Raisi, in a meeting with members of the 13th government: “The simplicity of life and the reduction of formalities in the personal and governmental conduct of the government, especially of Mr. President, are striking to me. The spirit of jihad is shown in the government. Employing young people in various management levels is a very important thing. It is a necessary thing, and thank God it has been done in this government.”
In this meeting, the Leader of the Revolution also referred to the economic successes of the 13th government and, in describing some of the government's strong work in the economic sector, he pointed to the growth of macro indicators, including economic growth, especially in the industrial sector, increased investment growth, reduced liquidity growth, reduced unemployment, reduced Gini coefficient, and increased exports. He also considered strengthening the tax system, increasing petrochemical products and valuable work in the oil and gas fields, and launching several thousand closed or semi-closed workshops as other commendable measures of the government.
Nonsense campaigns are a low point in politics
All of the descriptions of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution about the personality of martyr Ayatollah Raisi prove his positive view on this matter, but some, ignoring the multitude of these descriptions, simply resorted to biased and incorrect interpretations of a short video and launched nonsense campaigns to destroy martyr Raisi, a valuable personality who did not spare his life in the field of service.
His comments on June 4th at the ceremony commemorating the passing of the Imam (may Allah have mercy on him) burn the heart of every fair-minded person. In this meeting, he complained that some media and groups denied the achievements of Ayatollah Raisi and his government during his lifetime: “After the loss of this dear one, I saw almost all newspapers, all press, in cyberspace, various people from different streams, talking about his services and his day-to-day efforts, praising him, and praising him; My heart ached; my heart ached for Raisi; [some] of them were not willing to say a single word of these things during his lifetime; during his lifetime they saw these highlights but hid them, rather they said the opposite and annoyed him. Of course, he often did not respond, but sometimes he would come to me and complain a little. May God Almighty elevate the ranks of this dear and respected man.”
The Nail of Resentment
In a situation where the country in the lost decade of the 1990s was faced with governments that were reminiscent of the Qajar era and inaction in the face of the heaviest sanctions and foreign pressures and had no idea how to solve the country’s problems, the government of martyr Raisi took important steps in three short years to make up for the backwardness. But it is strange that some of the same people who unquestioningly supported the passive governments of the 1990s are now attacking Raisi and even distorting the explicit statements of the Supreme Leader in order to destroy him. This approach is not only an affront to the people who witnessed the day-to-day efforts of this martyr, but also contains blatant lying, political baseness, and sheer impiety. In a recent Ramadan meeting, the Supreme Leader emphasized the value of Raisi’s work by endorsing his economic ideas, but some spitefully turned this clear truth into their own false intentions and sought to unravel the complex by interpreting it as the words of the country’s first person.
An example of this behavior can be likened to a person who keeps going to the pharmacy and asking for nails; when they say we don’t have them, he curses. The pharmacist says, “You want to curse, so why are you making excuses? "Now some opponents of the martyr Raisi are doing the same and have resorted to political obscenity. But this time, they have taken their cowardice to the extreme and are trying to justify their hatred by distorting the statements of the leader, who has repeatedly praised Raisi's services. If you are going to curse Raisi, curse him and leave, but sacrificing the clear words of the leader for this enmity is impiety and a betrayal of the nation's trust. The people who, after years of inaction, witnessed great things during Raisi's term, do not deserve these lies and distortions.
