According to Ashura News, quoting Mehr reporter, Hazrat Fatima Masoumeh (S), the younger sister of Imam Reza (A.S.) and the daughter of Hazrat Musa Kazim (A.S.), was born in Medina in 173 AH. Her mother was a pure lady named "Najma" who, when she gave birth to Hazrat Masoumeh (A.S.), Imam Kazim (A.S.) named her "Tahirah". The most important title of Fatima, the daughter of Imam Kazim (A.S.), is "Masoumeh".

Hazrat Fatima Masoumeh (S.) is one of the prominent women in the history of Islam who are considered a role model for women due to her cognitive, scientific and spiritual status. She is the special focus of Hazrat Reza (A.S.), and there is a narration attributed to Hazrat Reza (A.S.) that he said that whoever visits Hazrat Masoumeh (A.S.) in Qom is as if he has visited me. This narration shows the high status of that Imam.

Her scholarly and intellectual status is like that of other daughters of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.), which is a sign of her father and brothers. She was a noble lady who has the status of intercession, as stated in the pilgrimage letter narrated from Imam Reza (a.s.): “O Fatima, intercede for me in Paradise, for you have a great position before Allah.” That is, O Fatima, intercede for me in Paradise, for you have a great position before Allah.

Imam Sadiq (a.s.) said: "... except that the eighth heaven has three doors from it to the top, a woman who gave birth to the name of Fatimah bint Musa, and the intercession of the Shiites of Paradise with their intercession"; (Be aware that Paradise has a gate, three of which are towards Qom. A lady from my children died there, her name is Fatimah, the daughter of Musa. All our Shiites will enter Paradise through her intercession).

There is another narration of Imam Sadiq (a.s.) who said: "Allah is the Haram and He is Makkah, and His Messenger is the Haram and He is Al-Madinah, and the leader of the believers is the Haram and He is Al-Kufah, and It was a sacred place and it was a place, and a woman was buried in it, who gave birth to a woman named Fatima, who wailed and was taken to Paradise. "God has a sanctuary which is Mecca, and His Prophet has a sanctuary which is Medina, and the Commander of the Faithful has a sanctuary which is Kufa, and we also have a sanctuary which is Qom, and soon a lady from my offspring will be buried there whose name is Fatima, whoever visits her will be granted Paradise."

One of the titles of Hazrat Fatimah Masoumeh (S) is Muhaddithee, which indicates her proficiency in the science of Hadith, although few Hadiths have reached us throughout history.

It is clear that the daughter of Imam Musa Kazim (AS) and the venerable sister of Imam Reza (AS) also enjoyed a high position in knowledge and spirituality, to the extent that when a number of Shiites went to their father in Medina to ask him their questions, in the absence of Hazrat Musa Kazim, their daughter Hazrat Masoumeh answered them with questions. When the Shiites meet Imam Kazim after leaving Medina and observe the answers of Hazrat Masooma, they say things like "Fidaha Abuha" with satisfaction. He was also a subject of interest to the Shiites in terms of knowledge and hadith. His knowledge and mastery of hadiths and narrations, along with solid arguments and the power of explanation, introduce him as a scholar of hadith.

The narrations narrated from that Imam are mostly about the Imamate and guardianship of Ali (AS), which by proving his guardianship, the guardianship of other infallible Imams is also proven. For example, Hazrat Masooma narrates from Hazrat Zahra through several intermediaries that he said: The Prophet went to Paradise on the night of the Ascension and saw on a curtain in the palace of Paradise that it was written: "There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, Ali is the guardian of my people." (There is no god but God, the one and only, Muhammad is the Messenger of God, and Ali is the guardian and leader of the people) … and on the curtain of the door of another palace it is written: “His Shia are Ali, they are the victors”; (The Shias of Ali are the victors)

The blessed presence of Hazrat Masoumeh in Qom led to the formation of a large Shia base and made this city a center for the education of scholars and religious leaders. In recent decades, thanks to the intervention of her holy shrine, this city has become a place for the study, interpretation and explanation of Islamic sciences and teachings, an event that is undoubtedly the result of the spiritual atmosphere resulting from her blessed presence. Perhaps this is one of the greatest miracles of her that a lady from the Ahl al-Bayt, infallible and pure, is placed in such a high position and high position that great scholars of Islam are educated under her shadow.

After Imam Reza (AS) migrated to Tus, which was ordered by Mamun, the Imam set out for Khorasan in 201 AH to visit his brother. Different accounts have been given in history about the reasons for his departure, such as that Hazrat Masoumeh, due to her heartfelt affection for Imam Reza (AS), could not bear the distance from her brother after the Imam's trip to Iran and came to Iran with a group of companions and relatives. What is clear is that Hazrat Masoumeh was in charge of managing this caravan and decisions were made from the position, as in choosing Qom as the place of residence, Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) ordered to move towards Qom. This statement shows her many capabilities as a woman of knowledge, wisdom and social insight.

It is said that Hazrat Masoumeh fell ill near Saveh and the cause of her death was illness during the journey. However, other accounts of the conflict between some of the enemies of the Prophet in Saveh and the caravan of Hazrat Masoumeh indicate a fierce conflict between the caravan and the enemies of the Prophet, in which 23 of Hazrat Masoumeh's relatives were martyred in the war. The sight of the bodies and the martyrdom of relatives made Hazrat Masoumeh very ill. Hazrat Masoumeh (PBUH) ordered her servant to take her to Qom, which was a small Shiite base at that time. History states that the Prophet passed away after 17 to 18 days. However, according to some historical accounts, she was martyred due to poisoning.
