A senior member of the Hamas movement denied the claim made by the Saudi Al Arabiya channel about an agreement between the Hamas movement and the Israeli regime regarding a 60-day ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, a senior member of the Hamas movement denied the claims of some media outlets that the movement and the Israeli regime had reached a 60-day ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
This senior Hamas member emphasized that the movement is still reviewing the Whitakoff ceasefire proposal.
The Saudi channel "Al-Arabiya-Hadath" claimed an hour ago that the Hamas movement and the Israeli regime had reached an agreement on a 60-day ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Sources affiliated with Hadath announced that the agreement between Hamas and Israel with the ceasefire proposal had been communicated to Steve Whitakoff, the US special envoy for the Middle East.
According to these sources, it is expected that US President Donald Trump will officially announce the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel in the coming hours.
This claim by Hadath comes while the White House spokesman also said that Washington does not yet know whether the Hamas movement has agreed to the ceasefire proposal.
