Zionist media sources reported financing the Tel Aviv hot market process for Reza Pahlavi and promoting his image with the keyword "return of the monarchy."
According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, the Zionist newspaper Haaretz and Marker magazine announced in a new revelation that an organized network based in the occupied territories and indirectly funded by the Zionist regime’s cabinet has been pursuing extensive activity on social media in recent months to improve the image of Reza Pahlavi and promote the demand for the “return of the monarchy.”
In this regard, the Citizen Lab academic institute from the University of Toronto has documented a separate but aligned network that uses fake accounts and artificial intelligence-generated content to convey Zionist narratives in Persian to the Persian-speaking public.
According to Haaretz, the network used fake accounts on platforms such as X and Instagram, and used artificial intelligence tools to generate and distribute messages, publishing coordinated content, while also promoting the posts and positions of Gila Gamliel, the Israeli Minister of Intelligence and a close associate of Reza Pahlavi in the occupied territories.
According to the report, the political context of this operation dates back to Reza Pahlavi’s official visit to the occupied territories in early 2023, which was hosted by Gila Gamliel.
According to the findings of the CitizenLab research laboratory affiliated with the University of Toronto, another network is simultaneously pursuing the same mission in cyberspace. This network includes dozens of fake accounts whose profile pictures were created with artificial intelligence, and their activity began in 2023 and intensified in early 2025.
The results of the Citizen Lab researchers’ investigation show that there was coordination between Israel’s military actions during the 12-day war with Iran and the content of this online campaign. For example, there are indications that the campaign’s agents were aware of the attack and had prepared their content in advance before Israel attacked Evin Prison.
The most interesting thing about the activity of this fake network occurred at the same time as the Israeli attack on Evin Prison; when the network began publishing a series of fake videos and previously prepared content exactly at the same time as the bombing of Evin. The strange thing about the network’s operation was the publication of a video from Evin at the moment of the bombing, which was later revealed to be fake and generated by artificial intelligence.
Another activity of this network was encouraging Iranians to go to prison to free prisoners. The network also played a role in creating calls for protests and slogans against the Iranian leader.
Citizen Lab’s analysis of the activity of these accounts shows that the network is also linked to several Telegram channels.
Although most of the accounts in this fake network were launched in 2022, coinciding with the protests in Iran, their activity intensified with the outbreak of the war with Iran. The propaganda network uncovered from this campaign relies on a set of fake personas posing as Iranian citizens.
