According to Ashura News, quoted by Tasnim News Agency, Minister of Information Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Ismail Khatib, in the unveiling ceremony of the book Qandil, referring to the importance of the role of culture in shaping the identity and future path of society, said: A cultural person is able to find his right place in today's complex world and stand on the right side of history. Culture is the main element in guiding protests, uprisings and social changes and can lead society towards a sacred and lasting unity despite ethnic and secular diversity.

He added: Writers, poets and artists who create and preserve culture with their pen, memory and work are the main pillars of the country's cultural construction. These people illuminate the path of truth for generations with their works and deserve support, encouragement and appreciation.

Stating that history is not simply a narrative of the past, the Minister of Information said: Books, poetry and films can be the main path to the excellence of man and society. Memories, written works, and honest narratives are the guide of today’s and future generations to reach reality and truth, and they show that the world’s allure is not limited to material glamour; rather, sometimes, in the form of seemingly humanitarian slogans, intellectual prisons are built for humanity that distance it from its nature and inherent identity.

Referring to the importance of recording and publishing lived experiences, especially by women, he said: A dynamic society is one that allows women to narrate their experiences and memories for posterity with their own names and identities. These narratives are an inseparable part of the nation’s historical memory.

The Minister of Intelligence also reminded, considering the strong presence of the people on January 12, that: Iran’s history has repeatedly witnessed the cruelty and crimes of terrorist groups and the continuous efforts of enemies to disrupt national unity. The enemies of this land have tried for years and decades to weaken a united Iran, but they have failed.

Khatib added: "If Kurdistan remains an inseparable part of Iran, this is due to the Kurdish people themselves and their commitment to the Iranian identity. Iran's enemies know very well that the Iranian nation, despite all the pressures and bloodshed, will never allow the integrity of this land to be undermined." The Minister of Intelligence said: "As long as this nation is united, no threat with constant demarcations and fabricated incidents can make it fail. The truth will always prevail, and cultural works, especially books like Qandil, will record a lasting chapter in the history of our country for future generations."
