The Supreme Supervisory Board of the Assembly did not consider 9 bills approved by the Parliament to be contrary to general policies.

After reviewing 10 bills approved by the parliament, the Supreme Oversight Board announced that 9 of them were not inconsistent with the general policies of the regime.

According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, the Supreme Supervisory Board held a meeting on Tuesday evening, May 29, 1404, chaired by Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani, with the presence of members and full-power representatives of the heads of the executive and judicial branches, and the deputy head of the Marine Environment and Wetlands of the Environmental Organization.

Today's meeting of the Supreme Supervisory Board had 10 agendas to review bills approved by the parliament, which were ultimately declared non-contradictory by 9 of them after explanations and reports from the "Legal and Judicial", "Infrastructure and Production" and "Economic" commissions of the Assembly Secretariat.

These bills included the “Bill on the Extradition Agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela”, the “Bill on the Mutual Legal Assistance Agreement in Civil Matters between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela”, the “Bill on the Mutual Assistance Agreement in Criminal Matters between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela”, the “Bill on the Agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Finland for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Tax Evasion with Respect to Income Tax”, and the “Bill on the Agreement between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for the Elimination of Double Taxation with Respect to Income Tax and the Prevention of Tax Evasion and Avoidance”, which were found not to be inconsistent with general policies by the members of the Supreme Council.

Also, the “Bill on Referring the Dispute between the Iranian Industrial Development and Renovation Organization, the Iranian Industrial Projects Management Company, and Satarm Company to Arbitration”, the “Bill on the Accession of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Agreement on the Joint Use of Train Wheelhouses (Wagons) and Cargo Holds (Containers) Belonging to the Commonwealth of Independent States of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Georgia, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, and the Republic of Estonia”, the “Bill on the Additional Protocol on Transboundary Environmental Impact Assessment to the Framework Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea”, and the “Bill on the Extradition Treaty between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam” were examined, and it was declared that they were not inconsistent with the general policies of the regime.

In this meeting, the “Bill on the Membership of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC)” was also referred to the Legal and Judicial Commission of the Assembly Secretariat for further examination.

The members of the Supreme Supervisory Board continued to review other articles of the board's supervisory guidelines.
