The Yemeni missile that landed at Ben Gurion Airport yesterday simultaneously targeted the heart of the US and Israeli military and missile defense industries, shifting the balance of power in Yemen's favor.
According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency, Al Jazeera News Network, referring to yesterday's missile attack by Yemeni armed forces on Ben Gurion Airport deep in the occupied territories, which is considered one of the most protected airspaces of the Zionist regime, stated that the Israelis have reached the brink of madness as a result of these attacks. The Zionist regime's internal security strategy, which is based on eliminating dangers in the surrounding environment and having the initiative and readiness to carry out preemptive strikes to prevent the transfer of danger into the occupied territories, has been severely weakened and has shown itself to be extremely vulnerable.
In a situation where the Gaza war has faced the Zionist regime with a disaster and has marked the longest wars for Israel, the Yemeni attacks have forced Israel to an emergency and forced the United States to intervene directly to defend Israel. In this situation, the recent Yemeni attack revealed some of the regime's weaknesses and proved that after they succeeded in the naval blockade of Tel Aviv in the Red Sea, they have achieved another success in the air blockade of the regime.
The article, noting that the Yemeni missile attack was carried out on the most protected and important point in Tel Aviv, namely Ben Gurion Airport, which is the only external passage of the Zionist regime, emphasized that this missile attack paralyzed the Gush Dan area or Greater Tel Aviv, and the main streets of this area were blocked, causing heavy traffic, stopping trains and public transportation, and millions of Zionists fled to shelters.
The Zionist website Yedioth Aharonot announced in this regard that the sound of multiple explosions was heard deep in the occupied territories and columns of smoke were clearly visible around Ben Gurion Airport. "All employees fled to the shelter and heard a huge explosion that exploded near the planes that were at the airport," said Benhas Eidan, the head of the airport workers, describing the incident. Israel was lucky that there was only one plane in the sky.
Flight cancellations
Immediately after the missile hit Ben Gurion Airport, foreign planes left the airport, and planes that were planning to land at the airport also turned away, and international airlines suspended their flights to Tel Aviv. Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian, Air Europa, India, Canada, the UK, Italy, France, Brussels Airlines and TUI Airways canceled all their flights to the occupied territories.
The Israeli tourism industry, which is struggling to recover from the deep recession caused by the Gaza war, has suffered another blow, with the cancellation of international flights causing many problems for Israelis leaving the occupied territories and tourists returning to their countries, which in itself jeopardizes the Israeli regime's domestic and international tourism.
Failure of numerous defense systems
The first question that comes to the minds of the Zionists regarding this attack is how such a missile, which created a 25-meter hole in the ground when it exploded, managed to pass through the numerous air defense lines of the Israeli regime and the United States, which Tel Aviv is proud of and introduces itself as the world's leading industry in this field. This is while the Israeli regime's systems were created with American financial and technological support, and systems such as the Hits 1, 2, and 3 have also been deployed in the occupied territories to shoot down long-range missiles in the upper atmosphere.
The David's Sling missile system is designed to destroy medium-range missiles, and the Iron Dome system is designed to intercept and shoot down short-range missiles. In this way, the Zionist regime has created a multi-layered air defense system to protect itself from the dangers of missile attacks.
Of course, this is not the whole story, and in the last two years, American air defense systems such as "Patriot" and "THAAD" have also been sent to the occupied territories to assist the Israeli regime's domestic systems in intercepting hostile missiles.
In addition to all this, the United States has deployed the international missile defense system against Israel in its naval fleets in the Mediterranean and Red Seas, and ships of the Israeli regime's allies, including France, Britain, and Germany, which are stationed in the region, are also constantly monitoring the Israeli airspace.
In justification of this failure, Tel Aviv announced that it would launch an investigation into the incident. It is not clear from the Israeli army's statement whether the explosion occurred, whether it was part of the missile in question, or whether the entire missile hit the airport, but in any case, the Israeli army was forced to admit the failure of this missile operation. The announcement of the failure of the numerous air defense systems of the Israeli regime and the United States brought terror to the occupied territories.
America's Scandal in Yemen
In order to free the Zionist regime from Yemeni missiles, America tried to stop these attacks with its violent attacks on ports, airports, and military and civilian targets in Yemen. However, no change was achieved as a result, and the naval blockade of the port of Eilat continued. America also incurred great costs for its operations. Among these costs were the downing of seven of its MQ-9 spy planes and the crash of an American F-18 fighter jet into the sea.
The Ma'ariv newspaper wrote in this regard that the assessment of Israeli military institutions shows that the series of missile and drone operations by the Yemenis against Israel in recent days have been carried out as a result of the increased pressure of American attacks on the Yemenis. Some former soldiers of the Zionist regime are proposing the use of alternative solutions such as assassinating Yemeni leaders, while others believe that carrying out these assassinations is not as easy as in Lebanon, and in addition, it cannot guarantee that these attacks will stop.
In any case, the Zionists do not consider the Zionist regime's operation in Yemen to be logical, especially since such an operation would require a distance of 2,000 kilometers. The Zionist regime's cabinet continues to accuse the United States of neglecting to seriously confront the regime's naval and air blockade by the Yemenis.
