The Foreign Ministry spokesperson reacted in a message to the European Union's deceitful approach and selective response in the face of Israel's military aggression against Syria.
According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency, Ismail Baghaei, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in response to the statement of the European Union External Action Service that described the military aggression of the Zionist regime against Syria as “escalation of tension on Syrian soil,” wrote: The European Union has described Israel’s blatant military aggression as “escalation of tension on Syrian soil,” and thus has abandoned even the pretense of adhering to moral principles.
Baghaei added: This is a clear example of manipulating reality and hiding “collusion” under the guise of “diplomacy.”
The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continued: Iran, with a proud history of standing against aggression and lawless behavior, resolutely rejects selective approaches and double standards. As always, we stand with the Syrian people and loudly support the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.
