4 terrorist cells destroyed in southeast of the country; 19 arrested

According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, the Ministry of Intelligence announced the destruction of 4 operational cells of a terrorist-Takfiri group, arresting 19 terrorists, killing 5 of them, discovering a large amount of weapons and explosives, and the martyrdom of an unknown soldier of the Imam of the Time (a.s.).

The text of the announcement is as follows:

In the name of the Almighty

To the noble nation of Islamic Iran, we inform you that with the silent efforts of the unknown soldiers of the Imam of the Time (a.s.) in the General Intelligence Directorate of Sistan and Baluchestan and by taking advantage of public reports, 5 members of the operational cells affiliated with terrorist-Takfiri groups and a team of miscreants in the southeast of the country were killed and 19 terrorists were arrested. During this series of operations, an unknown soldier of the Imam of the Time (a.s.) was martyred by a suicide bombing by one of the terrorists and another person was injured. The summary of the mentioned cases is as follows:

1. The operational core of a terrorist-takfiri group active in the southeast of the country, which intended to carry out a terrorist act deep inside the country, was surprised in the Damghan plain with the intelligence and operational synergy of the Unknown Soldiers of Imam Zaman (a.s.) in the General Intelligence Departments of Sistan and Baluchestan, Yazd and Semnan provinces, and three members of this terrorist group were arrested.

From the terrorists’ hideout in the city of Zahedan, more than twenty explosive devices that had been prepared to carry out a series of sabotage operations in different parts of the country were discovered and seized with the cooperation of the Faraj Jan Barkaf forces.

Two other members of the aforementioned group were also trapped in their hideout in Sistan and Baluchestan province.

The arrested terrorists had completed bomb-making training courses in a neighboring country and had entered the country to carry out a series of terrorist acts.

2- The death of the leader of the insecurity gang and the arrest of three members of the evil gang in the south of the province and the discovery and seizure of the relevant weapons and ammunition;

Following a joint intelligence and operational action by the anonymous soldiers of Imam Zaman (a.s.) and the zealous men of Faraday province, a notorious villain named Iraj Bamri was killed and three members of the gang were arrested.

3- Destruction of three operational cells monitoring terrorist-takfiri groups affiliated with the American-Zionist enemy in the southeast of the country;

During a series of preemptive operations by the anonymous soldiers of Imam Zaman (a.s.) in the General Intelligence Directorate of Sistan and Baluchestan, three organized cells monitoring terrorist-takfiri groups affiliated with the American-Zionist enemy’s intelligence services were identified and eleven members of these cells’ operational and support elements were arrested before any harmful action could be taken.

These mercenaries, who were operating under the cover of Takfiri terrorist groups based in the region, entered the country under various guises and were tasked with carrying out explosive operations, assassinations, and creating insecurity in the southern counties of Sistan and Baluchestan province, and collecting information on the infrastructure and economic centers of Chabahar Port.

Considerable amounts of light weapons (types of waist-mounted rifles) and semi-heavy weapons (Doshika), explosive devices, operational tools, etc. were discovered and confiscated from these mercenaries.

A number of the arrested mercenaries are foreign nationals who, after being recruited into Takfiri groups and undergoing military and sabotage training in neighboring countries, entered the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the aim of carrying out anti-human terrorist missions during the Third Imposed War.

4. The death of 4 members of the core of the Takfiri terrorist groups in an ambush by the Unknown Soldiers of the Imam of the Time (PBUH);

Following public information that an operational team affiliated with terrorist-takfiri groups in the border area of ​​Saravan city was attempting to enter the country, this terrorist team was ambushed by the Unknown Soldiers of Imam Zaman (a.s.) and the fighters of the IRGC Ground Forces’ Quds Base on the morning of June 7th, and all 4 terrorists of this imported operational cell were killed. In this operation, one of the terrorists attempted to detonate his suicide vest, which unfortunately resulted in the martyrdom of one of the Unknown Soldiers of Imam Zaman (a.s.) and the injury of another person.

Significant amounts of weapons and ammunition were recovered from these imported terrorists, including:

_ Two Kalashnikovs along with a grenade launcher

_ One M16 with a night vision scope

_ One M4

_ Several Kalashnikov, M4 and M16 magazines

_ Suicide vests ready to explode

_ Large amounts of explosive and electronic fuses

_ An electrical circuit for explosive structures with the ability to determine the time of explosion

_ Several waist-mounted pistols

_ A Starling satellite device
