Explaining the "Life with Verses" project, the head of the Islamic Propaganda Organization stated that the main goal of this project is to promote practical and useful verses of the Quran in society and strengthen people's religious identity.
According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr reporter, Hojjatoleslam Walmuslimin Mohammad Qomi, head of the Islamic Propaganda Organization, in explaining the "Life with Verses" project, stated: This project was developed after reviewing and summarizing the opinions of experts, focusing on the verses emphasized by Imam Khomeini (RA), the Supreme Leader, Allameh Tabatabaei, Martyr Motahari and other elders.
He added: The main goal of this project is to spread the practical and needed verses of society among the general public, to memorize these verses by different strata, and ultimately, to promote Quranic culture at the community level.
Referring to the importance of selecting verses in this project, Hojjatoleslam Qomi said: One of the notable points in "Life with Verses" is the selection of verses that, despite the relative familiarity of people with them, have profound epistemological and strategic messages that have been emphasized in the statements of the elders.
The head of the Islamic Propaganda Organization, emphasizing the desirable state of religious education in society, stated: Religious education in society is in a desirable state and many people are familiar with the important and strategic verses of the Holy Quran. This project seeks to strengthen the religious and Quranic identity of the people by relying on this capacity and provide a basis for a deeper understanding of the meanings and concepts of the divine verses.
In the end, he expressed hope: With the cooperation of all groups and organizations supporting public activities and Quranic meetings, we can provide the basis for memorizing 200 important verses by 10 million people in a three-year period and, in this way, move the discourse space of society towards Quranic knowledge.
It is worth noting that the "Life with Verses" project has been welcomed by Quranic professors and experts, and they have announced their readiness to provide additional comments and suggestions to further improve this project. This plan, given the emphasis of religious leaders on the importance of learning and reflecting on the verses of the Holy Quran, can be an effective step in improving the spiritual and cultural level of society.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided to identify the volunteer organizations to implement the plan during the holy month of Ramadan and to take the next steps to implement it as best as possible. The secretariat of this plan will continue to be the responsibility of the Dar al-Quran organization.
