In an interview with Lebanon's Al-Mayadeen news network, the government spokesman emphasized that "if the flame of war rises in the region, it will burn the entire world," emphasizing that Iran has no desire for war but is resolute in defense.
According to Ashura News, quoted by Fars, in a new interview with the Al-Mayadeen news network, which was recently stopped by the Zionist regime in occupied Palestine, government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani warned the enemy that although Iran has no desire to enter a war and is not the initiator of the war, it is completely determined and resolute in defending itself. In this interview, Mohajerani stated that “the enemy’s target is Iran itself and Iranian civilization,” and warned the United States and the Zionist regime, “If the flames of fire rise in the region, it will burn the entire world.” The enemy kidnapped the people’s protest. At the beginning of the interview, Mohajerani stated that “the Constitution, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, the President, and all the pillars of the political system recognize and support the right to protest,” and said, “We believe that the protest reflects a dynamic society. These protests were peaceful at first, but unfortunately, they were taken hostage by some who turned the streets of our city into a scene of unrest, leading to the death and injury of some of our beloved youth. That is why our people, knowing that the enemies are lurking in this country, came to the scene [on January 11]. Today, as I speak to you, life is going on as usual...". He said in another part, "...on January 18 and 19, they incited tensions and targeted and killed protesting citizens. In the northern city of Rasht, we witnessed a nurse being burned alive in a medical center. If this is not the work of ISIS, then what is?"
Those who seek unrest are armedThe government spokesman said regarding the infiltration of armed elements into the protests, "A protester usually does not carry a weapon; perhaps a lighter to set fire to a trash can. Although it is true that in some cases civil disobedience has occurred, we know very well that they are our children... However, those who seek to incite unrest and rebellion are armed and incite the protesters to violence and direct them towards specific goals. The protestor refuses to approach government institutions and calls for demonstrations in places where his voice can be heard. But those who incited our children to attack government buildings and caused the blood of our children to be shed in the streets of the city were not protesters; they infiltrated the ranks of the protesters. So, the distinction between them is that some carry weapons, are affiliated with professional and subversive organizations, and are affiliated with hostile networks. They are the ones who smuggle weapons into the country. Certainly, the security institutions and national intelligence organizations are fully monitoring their activities and movements, and if necessary, every person involved will be arrested...". The judiciary will act decisively. The judiciary will act decisively. Stating that "I am not a spokesperson for the judiciary, but a spokesperson for the government," and referring to the distinction between protesters and armed saboteurs, Hajarani said, "Certainly, those who have damaged public and private property and those who have killed our children must understand that the judiciary, while dealing with our protesting children with Islamic compassion, will also deal decisively and firmly with the rioters so that people feel safe."
Regarding the damages, Mohajerani also said, "We have witnessed extensive damage in the three major cities of Tehran, Mashhad, and Isfahan. Unfortunately, mosques and historical sites that are part of our cultural and civilizational heritage have been attacked. In Tehran, according to the mayor, the damage has reached at least 3 trillion tomans. The enemy's interference in the protests was as clear as day. Mohajerani continued, in response to a question about foreign interference in the Iranian protests, saying, "Of course, this time there was no need for the security services to reveal the role of foreign intelligence agencies like Mossad in these events, as we saw in the media when former US Secretary of State Pompeo openly spoke about this role. Even the Zionist regime's officials openly announced that Mossad agents were present on the streets of Iran... They openly declared their support for the rioters. Therefore, I said that the peaceful protest movement of our people had been hijacked. This time, the foreign interference and interference was obvious and there was no need to try to uncover it; it was as clear as day. They interfered quite openly in our internal affairs and unfortunately caused the deaths of many of our beloved children... They do not want [themselves and the essence of] Iran. The Supreme Leader also stated in his recent speech that they want to "swallow Iran." Therefore, their target is Iran and its civilization... Their main target is Iran.
Iran has no desire for war but will defend itself resolutely. In response to a question about the possibility of US military aggression against Iran, Mohajrani said, "We hope they understand that we are in favor of diplomacy and hope that all issues will be resolved through diplomatic channels. We have no desire for war, but we are determined and resolute in defending the country and the interests of our people. If they make a mistake or take a step to violate our sovereignty, they will definitely receive a tough response. We will not start any war, but it is natural that our armed forces will take any action they deem appropriate to defend the country." Mohajrani concluded by emphasizing that, of course, if they want to enter an atmosphere of tension - although we do not like this - we are not afraid of any confrontation. As the honorable Minister of Defense said, security is a fluid situation, so is insecurity. This region is a special region, so do not expose it to insecurity, because God forbid, if the flames rise in it, it will burn the whole world.
