According to Ashura News, citing IRNA, Fatemeh Mohajerani stated in a meeting with economic activists and members of the Kerman Chamber of Commerce on Saturday evening, referring to subsidies and the request of some attendees to adjust them: "We cannot do sudden things because the lives of many people are at risk and their livelihoods are affected."

She added: "We do not intend to make sudden changes. Changes must be slow, continuous, and goal-oriented, and this is part of economic and administrative system reforms."

Mohajerani stated that she wished we had governed in a way that talked about achievements instead of problems, and continued: "Governance must be reformed, steps are being taken, and the Seventh Plan is in this direction."

The government spokesperson reminded: "We are facing a situation where a part of society is extremely poor and we are forced to have a market regulation headquarters; of course, it is true that in many countries the market regulates itself."

He emphasized: In the seventh plan, it is said that we do not have the right to prevent exports, but we see that we are in a special time situation, for example, there is a need for dates during Ramadan and we have to prevent the market from exporting, which is a natural mechanism of the market.

Mohajerani stated: Slowly, the economy wants to be like a living organism and declare that this energy price is not real, but with the current economic conditions, it is not easy for prices to become real.

The government spokesman continued: In some cases, the government is used to (taking certain measures) and in some places it does not know how to make changes.

We believe that the private sector should be strengthened

Mohajerani added: All governments believe that the private sector should be strengthened and not even set additional rules for it.

Stating that we cannot solve the problem if we do not see the problems from different perspectives, he called for the separation of the problems and the presentation of solutions by members of the chamber and economic activists.

The government spokesman added: The governor of Kerman has a serious plan for tourism, and the environmental diversity and the existence of historical sites and buildings have a very, very high capacity to attract tourists.

He noted: The Scientific Deputy is working hard to attract capital in the field of artificial intelligence to create a foundation and then the private sector will enter.

Mohajerani said: We have a problem with securing foreign exchange for machinery and priorities are being established.

Justice Expansion Program

He also stated about the President's program: In addition to the Seventh Program, the President is pursuing the Justice Expansion Program in two branches: education and health, and a special task force is being formed in the provinces in this regard.

The government spokesman also promised to follow up on the return of 15 percent of the provinces' legal rights from large industries (state rights to mines).
