According to Ashura News, quoting ISNA, this morning, in a meeting with Hajj officials and a group of pilgrims to the Holy House, Ayatollah Khamenei called God's purpose in establishing the Hajj obligation to provide a complete and guiding model for managing humanity, and added: The composition and outward appearance of this obligation is completely political, and the content of its components is completely spiritual and worshipful, so that the interests of all humanity are ensured, and today the greatest benefit of the Islamic Ummah is "unity and synergy" to solve the problems of the Islamic world. If this were the case, issues such as Gaza and Yemen would not have occurred.

At the beginning of his speech, Ayatollah Khamenei offered his condolences to the families of the victims of the truly bitter Bandar Abbas incident, and asked for patience and peace for these compatriots and the families of the injured, emphasizing: God grants a reward thousands of times more valuable in return for the patience that a person shows in various incidents.

He considered the damage to institutions in natural and unnatural disasters to be reparable with the help of the efforts and capabilities of other institutions, and added: What burns the human heart are the "lost dear families" that turned this incident into a disaster for us and everyone.

Continuing his speech, the Leader of the Revolution called the knowledge and understanding of the various goals and dimensions of Hajj very important for pilgrims to the House of Allah, as a prelude to the correct performance of this obligation, and citing numerous verses of the Holy Quran, he added: The use of the term "people" in many verses related to Hajj shows that God has ordained this obligation to manage the affairs of all people - not just Muslims -; therefore, holding Hajj properly is a service to humanity.

Explaining the cognitive points of Hajj, he called it the only obligation whose form and composition are 100% political; because it brings people together in a single place and time every year for specific purposes, which is inherently political.

Ayatollah Khamenei added: In addition to the political form and composition of Hajj, the content of its components is 100% spiritual and devotional, and each of them has a symbolic and instructive reference to various issues and necessities of human life.

In explaining these symbols, he called the lesson of "Tawaf" the necessity of revolving around the axis and centrality of monotheism, and added: Tawaf teaches humanity that government, life, economy, family, and all issues of life must be built around monotheism, and in this case, there will be no more atrocities, infanticide, and excesses, and the world will become a flower garden.

The Leader of the Revolution considered the "strive between Safa and Marwa" as a reference to the necessity that man must constantly strive amidst the mountains of difficulties and never stop, hesitate, or bewildered.

Ayatollah Khamenei considered “moving towards Arafat, Mash’ar, and Mina” a lesson in constant movement and avoiding stagnation, and added: “Sacrifice is also a symbolic reference to the fact that sometimes a person must sacrifice or even be sacrificed for their dearest ones.”

He called “throwing the Jamarat” God’s emphasis on the fact that a person must recognize the demons of jinn and humans and strike and destroy them wherever he finds them.

The Leader of the Revolution also considered “wearing the Ihram garment” a sign of humility and the unification of humans before God, and added: “All these actions are a direction for the life of humanity.”

Citing a verse from the Holy Quran, the Leader of the Revolution called the purpose of the "community" of Hajj to understand and achieve various human benefits and said: Today, there is no greater benefit than unity for the Islamic Ummah, and if there was unity, coordination, and synergy among the Islamic Ummah, the current tragedies in Gaza and Palestine would not have occurred and Yemen would not be under such pressure.

He considered the separation and division of the Islamic Ummah to be a precondition for imposing the interests and ambitions of the colonialists, America, the Zionist regime, and other bigots on nations, and added: With the unity of the Ummah, security, progress, and synergy among Islamic countries and their assistance to each other are possible, and the opportunity of Hajj should be viewed in this light.

Ayatollah Khamenei considered the role and duty of Islamic governments, especially the host government, to be great and prominent in explaining the truth and goals of Hajj, and said: Officials of countries, scholars and intellectuals, writers, and people who influence public opinion are obliged to explain the truths of Hajj to the people.

Before the Leader of the Revolution's statements, Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Abdul Fattah Nawab, the Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and the head of Iranian pilgrims, stated that the slogan of this year's Hajj is "Hajj; Quranic conduct, Islamic convergence, and support for oppressed Palestine" and explained the organization's programs for pilgrims this year.

Mr. Bayat, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, also said in a report: This year, 86,000 Iranians will visit the land of revelation in 574 convoys from 123 flight stations.

"Performing 210,000 individual Umrahs in the past 8 months," "increasing the productivity of the staff forces and servants of pilgrims," "allocating 2 convoys for Iranians abroad in this year's Hajj," and "the full readiness of Hajj agents and servants to provide the best possible service to Iranian pilgrims" were among the themes of the Hajj officials' speeches at the beginning of this meeting.
