According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, scholars and elites of the Islamic world issued a statement condemning the Zionist regime's missile and drone attacks on Iran and the martyrdom of generals, scientists, and innocent people, and calling for the unity of the Islamic nation.

The text of the statement of scholars and elites of the Islamic world is as follows:

In the name of Allah, the Merciful

Those who believe will fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve will fight in the way of the tyrant. Al-Shaitan is weak (Al-Nisa': 76)

We, the scholars of the Islamic Ummah, with a heart full of sadness and anger, strongly condemn the recent aggression of the child-killing Zionist regime on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the targeting of security and resistance commanders, nuclear scientists, and the merciless killing of innocent people and civilians.

1. The Zionist Regime; The Enemy of Humanity and Truth

The recent attacks show the true and criminal face of the Zionist Regime; a regime that is not only the enemy of Palestine, but also the enemy of the entire Islamic Ummah and even justice and humanity worldwide. Targeting Iranian scientists and defense commanders is a desperate attempt to stop the scientific and military progress and independence of the Iranian nation.

2. This war is a war between Islam and infidelity

We declare that what is happening today is the battlefield of truth and falsehood, infidelity and Islam, and oppression and justice. The Zionist Regime and its supporters are standing in the ranks of falsehood, and the Islamic Republic of Iran is at the forefront of defending the ideals of the Quran, Palestine, resistance, and human dignity.

3. The Islamic Ummah Must Rise

It is incumbent upon religious scholars, academics, elites, and the masses of Muslims to emerge from their state of passivity and division and rise to help the oppressed with unity, awareness, and action. Today, defending Iran is defending Islam; Defending the security of Muslims, the dignity of Jerusalem, and the future of a united nation.

4. Divine glad tidings of the victory of truth

We believe in the sure promises of the Quran:

If you help, Allah will help you and make your feet firm (Muhammad: 7)

The final victory belongs to the faith front. The final destruction of this usurping regime and its evil supporters is a divine promise that is close to being fulfilled.

5. Demanding international justice

We call on international organizations and human rights institutions to break their shameful silence and register these attacks as war crimes and prosecute the perpetrators. Invasion of the territory of an independent country is a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter and international law.

In conclusion, with sincere prayers for the victory of the fighters of the path of truth and the martyrs of the resistance, we emphasize that the blood of the martyrs will not be extinguished; rather, it will illuminate the path for the liberation of the Islamic nation like a lamp.

And may Allah help whom He helps. Indeed, Allah is Strong, Mighty. (Al-Hajj: 40)

And peace be upon him who follows guidance.
