According to Ashurel News, citing ISNA, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas issued a statement on Monday, saying: The continued closure of the Gaza Strip's crossings against humanitarian aid and various goods is a crime of collective punishment against innocent civilians and a clear violation of international human rights law.

Hamas stated: Preventing the entry of food, medicine and basic necessities is a war crime and a futile attempt to subdue the steadfast people of Gaza, in addition to an attempt to impose catastrophic conditions on more than 2 million Palestinians, which is also in clear conflict with all human values and international law.

The Hamas statement said: The fact that Netanyahu, as a war criminal, announces before the eyes of the world his decision to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and deprive civilians of this aid indicates an insult to international laws and treaties and his immunity from punishment for his crimes, which is due to the political and unlimited support of the US government.

Hamas concluded by announcing: "We, in the Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement, call on all Arab and Islamic countries, the United Nations, and the international community to take immediate action to stop this crime against humanity, as well as immediate action to allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza. We also call for an end to the Zionist siege that threatens the lives of more than 2 million Palestinians, as the fascist occupying government continues to blatantly violate international and humanitarian documents."
