According to Ashura News, citing IRNA, President Pezizkian sent a message to King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand on Friday, December 14, 1404, congratulating him, the royal family, and the great nation of his country on the arrival of the country's national day. He stated: The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Thailand are celebrating the 70th anniversary of the beginning of their diplomatic relations, but the historical and cultural ties between the two nations are more than 400 years old. The presence of Iranians as prominent advisors in the court of the Ayutthaya Kingdom laid the foundation for mutual trust and respect between the two nations and left a cultural heritage that continues to inspire friendly cooperation to this day. I am confident that this historical path will continue for the welfare of the two nations and in the direction of strengthening international and regional peace and stability.

The President also stated in a message on this occasion to Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand: "Iran-Thailand relations, which are based on 400-year-old ties, are celebrating the 70th anniversary of the beginning of their diplomatic relations this year. I hope that, given the historical records of the two nations and the existing capacities, we will witness further development and consolidation of cooperation in all areas of interest."
