According to Ashura News, citing Al Jazeera, the AFP news agency reported that US President Donald Trump's new security strategy calls for a moderation of the country's presence in the world and a focus on threats.

The White House's report on Trump's new security strategy continues: Trump's new strategy is also committed to ending mass immigration and seeking to restore American dominance in Latin America.

In another part of the strategy, while warning about the risk of European civilization disappearing, it is emphasized: The era of America bearing the burden of the world alone is over; allies must assume their responsibilities. The idea that NATO can be continued and expanded indefinitely must end.

Trump's new strategy also calls on Japan and South Korea to play a greater role in defending Taiwan and states: Preventing conflict over Taiwan through military deterrence is a top priority. We will strengthen our military presence in the Western Pacific and work with Australia and Taiwan to achieve defensive stability.

The media has cited other parts of the White House’s new Middle East security strategy, which states: “We want to prevent any hostile power from dominating the Middle East, its resources and routes, and endless wars in this region. With the support of the United States and Arab countries, as well as Israel and Turkey, Syria can consolidate and restore its natural place as a positive and integral player in the region.”

Without mentioning the US’s warmongering in the region and its support for the Zionist regime in the genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the strategy claims: “Thanks to the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and the prisoner exchange brokered by President Trump, progress has been made towards a more sustainable peace in the Middle East. Middle East partners are demonstrating their commitment to combating extremism, a trend that US policy should continue to encourage.”
